its average to be honest, they have made the song to big in my opinion, i think they think that if they do a huge ballard with a large orchestra to go with a big film they will do good but they should of done something more simple.

Whatt??? This song is in no way auto-tuned!! I think it is beautiful and a change from all the throwaway crap we hear at the moment. The lyrics and the theme of the song fit perfectly with the film, it has a mystical/mysterious vibe to it...

It's epic.

Although it is a grower. It took me about 3 listens to love it. Also, it'll make a lot more sense with the video and with the movie.

It's a Vocoder that makes her voice sound non-human (not Auto-Tune). There is a difference.

Everything these days is auto-tuned. Every single last thing. Whether they can hit the notes or not. From Ozzy to Celine, to Zach de la Rocha and Queens of the Stone Age to JLS and Jedward. Every recording goes through auto-tune now as a matter of course. Certainly from the big labels.

However that effect at the beginning I'm hearing is vocoder or talk box, not auto-tune.

I like it, especially the last minute or so. Is it just me though, or does it sound a bit of a jumble? It seems hard to make the distinction between the bridge, chorus etc?
