When do they normally release the voting figures for each week for each contestant, and do they also show who was in the bottom two and who was actually the one with the lowest votes.
I ask as on many weeks it ended up being put to the public anyway, so we know exactly who was bottom but not who was top or in the middle. However there is one week that I think an awful lot of people are going to be very interested in, and that is the week Jedward went! as it was not put to the public vote, Dannii was the last judge to vote and she went with Simon and Cheryl and Jedward went home. Now the controversy will be if Jedward did not poll the least votes had it gone to the public they would have remained in the show and OLLY would have gone home as he was the other one in the bottom. Who thinks Olly polled the least and who thinks Jedward polled the least. If Olly got the least public votes had it gone to deadlock Jedward would have stayed, how would that have changed the show do any of you care to comment as it has really played on my mind since that night. Did Dannii suspect that Olly was going to be walking off into the sunset, which is why she played on the "is this a singing competition" or was she just worried he may have got the least and she would be saving Jedward who she claimed could not sing? GG Both the twins and Lloyd should have gone earlier instead of being saved, by the judges letting these two through via deadlock. This in my opinion changed the show immeasurably, particularly so in the case of Rachel who was one of the better singers in the contest. I dont think it was anything other than Danni being the only honest judge there tbh, she seems to be the only one who holds to her convictions. The twins were hopeless, simple really.Danni did what was required. |

I'm intrigued to see where Jedward finished from week to week and if they ever made an impression on the voting public.
I'm curious to see how Lloyd polled too and how big the teeny vote was for him. |

Well I dont see it being controversial at all, the reason why we have a bottom 2 is to stop any silly decisions being made by the voting public, it had been controversial that far better singers had gone because they had let it get to deadlock previously.
Both the twins and Lloyd should have gone earlier instead of being saved, by the judges letting these two through via deadlock. I totally agree with this. If Lloyd and Jedward were voted out by the judges in weeks 4 and 5 instead of the deadlocks we got, the top 6 (Joe, Stacey, Lucie, Rachel, Danyl and Olly) would pretty much be as good as this series could have gotten based on the finalists. Simon Cowell ruined the whole series in those two weeks in my opinion. Rachel and Lucie were a million times better than those they went out too. |

Oh and also, I think Jedward fans shouldnt even be complaining if they were actually above Olly that week. They were so unbelievably lucky to have made it past Lucie in the first place.. if Lucie had been Jamie, they'd have gone home.

Joe gets at least 20% more of the votes than his nearest rival on a weekly basis. I don't expect everyone to believe/accept that but it'll be revealed after the show's finished like last year.

Nice to see people with lots of views, and will be very interesting for us all to see the final voting figures.
Pop Idol 2 when the figures were released was a complete eye opener, it proved who I thought was topping the voting had in not fact been doing so. I think it has been close this year, I would say in my opinion, and it is just that an opinion, Danyl may have got the most votes on Purple Rain week, I think he may have polled the second highest behind Jedward the week after Big Band week where he has been in the bottom two. So I therefore do think Jedward polled the highest one week at least, the week Dan sang the Aerosmith song, not sure what Jedward sang. I do not think Lucie was polling high, and I think the week she went was soley down to older people not knowing the song, as I did not know it. Lloyd I think may surprise some of us, as I do think he was all over the voting, up down middle etc. I know some of you do not think it matters whether Olly or Jedward were last or second to last, for me it does matter, simply as other acts had been sent home on Jedward and Lloyd being in the bottom and it being put to the public vote, so I seriously do think it should have gone there that week, who do I think was bottom I have a feeling Olly was, which would have changed the outcome of this show drastically, I am not saying Dannii was wrong however I am saying they should never have gone to the public on so many occassions as they did, and as they had they should have done that week also. We may also find Olly was in fact miles ahead of them but we will have to wait and see. You tend to forget poor old Rikki and Rachel, but will be good to see just where they fared as well. My interest will be to see who wins and to see just how often over the early weeks that person was anywhere near the top as in fact if it is Joe one week I think he was very close the bottom two. All good to discuss without any nasty vibes or about favs, just about how we see the land laying over the weeks up to this weeks final. GG |

Please feel free to save this alongside it. (I'm sorry, I'm not giving a source otherwise I'll never get them again).

All things considered, I think J&E went at the right time for them.
Its unlikely they would have won, so it was a good time to go. They were in the show long enough to build up a following and they came out of the show with time to do some gigs, photo shoots, Jingle Bell Ball etc. They would have missed all of this if they were still in the show. |

This doesn't surprise me in the least! I would have been astonished had she been anything, but first. It's a shame Joe was so low
though at least hes making up for it now! Don't get the Stacey love at all.
