If I remember rightly, John and Edward were either never or only once in the top three. Other than that I'm afraid I can't remember much else.

The Internet has sadly not done a lot for my memory/attention span.

Joe McElderry 10.7%
John and Edward 9.6%
Olly Murs 9.1%
Lloyd Daniels 8.4%
Jamie Archer 8.3%

hmm interesting for Danyl, looks like the person that said his votes were up and down like a yoyo each week wasnt far wrong. Also looks like Olly was low down in votes the week before he entered the bottom 2.
Shame danyl wasnt that high up last week

My theory was 1st called was 2nd in the voting and 2nd called was 1st, 3rd was 3rd.

wk 6 that would not apply as Stacey called 3rd..but for wks 7 & 8 it applied for 1 & 2 at least.

Olly got transfers from Lloyd and Jedward maybe or his fans just voted more..he has certainly been near the bottom bit like DS Fave poll.

You're more than welcome

For the other person asking, I'm afraid I don't have the actual number of votes. Those aren't available (to me) although I would love to know whether it is actually true that more people vote on this show than vote in elections.

Looking at the percentage Stacey and Olly got in the week Lloyd went it may actually be VERY close between those 2 for second place.
I was convinced Stacey would be runner up but maybe after Ollys duet with robbie he'll bad second place?!

I thought that at first, but bear in mind that week was the week after Olly was in bottom two so there is a rebound element to that...

I ask as on many weeks it ended up being put to the public anyway, so we know exactly who was bottom but not who was top or in the middle.

However there is one week that I think an awful lot of people are going to be very interested in, and that is the week Jedward went! as it was not put to the public vote, Dannii was the last judge to vote and she went with Simon and Cheryl and Jedward went home.

Now the controversy will be if Jedward did not poll the least votes had it gone to the public they would have remained in the show and OLLY would have gone home as he was the other one in the bottom.

Who thinks Olly polled the least and who thinks Jedward polled the least.

If Olly got the least public votes had it gone to deadlock Jedward would have stayed, how would that have changed the show do any of you care to comment as it has really played on my mind since that night. Did Dannii suspect that Olly was going to be walking off into the sunset, which is why she played on the "is this a singing competition" or was she just worried he may have got the least and she would be saving Jedward who she claimed could not sing?

GG”

Its really not worth worrying about GG! It would only annoy a lot of people if they found out that Olly had the least votes that week although I somehow feel that it would have been Jedward!

The reason I would not want to know is that when Laura White went out last year to Ruth Lorenzo on the votes it was said afterwards that Ruth had the least votes by a mile (Laura would have stayed if it had gone to the public vote) and it really incensed me, so I think that a lot of Jedward fans would be better not know otherwise it will annoy them for ages just as it did me with Laura!

My original post was far too long.

Anyway, after the entire series, the full results will be released, showing who was the least popular for the public. This answers the OP's question.

Interesting how the names were called out with 3 rd place Joe called out first, 2nd place Danyl out second and 1st place Stacey called out third, thos 3 being in reverse order!

I cannot believe that Stacey got that bigger percentage as that, that week

I can "Who Wants TO Live Forever" wowed alot of people including myself that week. Though I of course still voted for Joe as usual but it wouldn't surprise me to find out more casual voters voted for Stacey that week.

i actually agree with this. they got to do the late late toy show, and if they'd stayed in one more week they'd've missed that too

I loved Laura as well and was shocked Darcyprincess, however I think fan bases do want to know, if it pees them off more so be it, but there has to be a balance on a show that put it to the public vote more than any other series, and they have to be accountable for that in my opinion, or Lucie fans would just be sitting with nothing to say right now, she WAS bottom, so they cannot argue the matter but Jedward fans have no idea, and I think they should know.

If Mr Murs was to go on and win this, and then you find out as a Jedward fan he should have gone home on the PEOPLE vote, just how would you feel, as Lucie fans lost her to the public vote, they may well say, then Olly should have suffered the same way.

I thank you all for your input here, as it is most interesting who you think polled where and why, looks like my other fav Jamie according to you lot was near the bottom each week. Lovely guy, lovely persona, arrogant and cocky did I care no, other than his air punching oe week he was truely fab, what you saw is what you got, nice guy.

How refreshing for us to have a thread that is a decent discussion/opinion exchange without it descending into rants/complaints/insults like on other threads/sections of DS quite often.

I loved Lucie and although I'm rarely moved by TV shows, I was most disappointed to see her go so early. Her first audition is something I won't forget.

Well you, my son and me both then on Lucie, it was her, Stacey, Joe and Danyl in this house from auditions.

Joe has stayed stagnent for us, Stacey has become annoying, we lost Lucie (whom my 15 year old loved on par with Dan) and then we lost Dan.

Leaving this household with a dilema.. who to vote for, so we have decided no one, lost two, other two not lived up to expectation, so turn over to SCD. where we think we can just enjoy it now as NO favs at all.

And how about my chef.. good on yer for winning.. rats.. you dreadful man! would eat anything if you were hungry, read the book about them on the plane crash, the REAL one, scary stuff that.

And other than that it is ALL just a show but it is called REALITY come on LAUGH.. whose reality is it, Mr COWELLS.. and his bank managers.

I think there will be quite a few weeks where most of the contestants were in a very narrow range of each other. (probably even a week where 1st is single digit % above the bottom 2)

Really Scusa, who would you say they were, I would bet Danyl and Jedward one week for top spot and Danyl and Olly so close to bottom when Olly was.. just all intresting thoughts

We have someone here saying Joe has been tops from week one, if that is so SIMON COWELL.. WATCH THIS SPACE, end of show.. as that would be manipulation, or rigging, he was so totally forgettable for most here for weeks.. so be careful Mr C we are watching you...

Lovely show for Louis tonight loved it...

Oh and Mrs O was incredible I even realised why I missed her as she is not some COW like the COLE.

Who knows if these are correct (although they seems as if they could be). But As it stands, I would guess the final order will be ....Joe/Stacey/Olly.

However if Lloyd had edged Danyl out week 8 (which I was convinced was going to be the result that night & probably was going into the Sunday show), I could easily see the final 3 order being Stacey/Joe/Lloyd.

The Jedward vs Olly question is endlessly interesting to me, especially now Olly's in the final.

I'm pretty sure Olly was last, and that was why the twins sang a ballad with only an hour to rehearse. It's almost as if they had agreed in advance with Louis to allow themselves to be voted out by the judges, which was why they didn't give themselves a chance. Not that the audience helped.

Having said that, and though I wish they'd made it to the top five, I do agree that it was a good time for them to go, as their subsequent career has shown. All the same, I still think they were pretty much forced out.

My hunch would be that after the first five live shows, Joe & Stacey have always been top 2, Jedward, Lloyd & Jamie always hovering at the bottom, with Olly & Danyl ratttling around in the middle.

Rachel, Rikki, Miss Frank & Kandy Rain never had a chance, but Lucie probably went home the first time she was anywhere near the bottom 2 (I'd also guess that Olly was only near the bottom 2 that once against Jedward.)

Will be really interested to see the official final voting patterns, hopefully next week!
