Given how lazy she was, turning up late to training all the time, I'm not surprised. But that was THREE years ago, get over it.

Me neither - I`m pleased at least he`s had celebs who have been interested in learning since then.

I think I would have lost my temper with her as well - why did she even agree to do the show? She didn't seem to want to learn...I think she was one of the worst celebs ever.

I've warmed to James as a presenter on ITT. I kind of like his natural, relaxed style of interviewing, which makes a nice balance with Claudia.

I'd echo that, she was lazy and she was being paid comparatively a lot of money and just didn't want to do the work.

It's not as if she was somebody of any importance. She's hardly had a spectacular career since.

The clothes he wore on ITT tonight looked good on him. The dark trousers were far better than the jeans he sometimes wears. Much more a modern classic look with the dark top and jacket.

So...

one bad partnership (possibly exacerbated by editing) with a lazy celeb when he was new to the show and possibly taking the professionalism aspect too seriously

three good partnerships, being spoken of highly as a person by the pros, contestants and any forum members who have met him, and a subtle, considered approach to interviewing, now that he's older and maybe more mature

Your rudeness suggests that you would condone that sort of behaviour anyway. You don't overlook bad behaviour just because it was a long time ago .. I don't give a flying fig if it was 20 years ago. It was up to him to motivate her more .. not make it so she never wanted to turn up .. what kind of teacher is he?
He was awful .. far worse than either Brendan was with Fiona Phillips or Anton was with Kate Garraway .. and they were both hopeless.
James has gone out .. earlier than he should have given the talent of his partners (Cherie, Gaby and Zoe) .. soley down to the fact that .. he isn't all that popular .. it's too much of a co-incidence to put it down to the popularity or ability of his partners.

There was nothing rude in what I said. I actually think your response is more telling. Gaby, Cherie and Zoe have all said that James is a lovely teacher and person. Lots of celebs speak very highly of him.

So you don't believe that people can ever change, and that once you make one mistake you are condemed to be judged by that for the rest of eternity?

But there was never a more arrogant and lazy contestant than Goergina in the history of SCD. Her attitude was typical of a lot of "youf" today.
Bear in mind she was employed by the BBC in a soap, (yes, it is a soap) so they'd only show her "best bits" on IT2.

She was probably worse than she was depicted.
He was well out of it with her.
