Do you mean in terms of their suitability for the dance, or favourite songs? Because one of my favourite songs was used, but it wasn't suitable for the dance.

Basically song choices which suited the dance, sorry I could of stated that!

I know what you mean, modern love is one of my favourites but should have NOT been used in L&As jive

I was actually thinking of Changes by Daniel Merriweather (Ali's Samba).

I don't have an order, but my favourites are:

Haven't Met You Yet - Michael Buble (Ali's Foxtrot)
Back To Black - Amy Winehouse (Phil's Tango)
Independent Women - Destiny's Child (Jade's Samba)
Easy Lover - Phil Collins (Craig's Cha3)
Whatever song Chris and Ola's Charleston was danced to

In general, I prefer the modern stuff as that is more to my music tastes, but I appreciate the old Sinatra type classics are usually more suitable for Ballroom.

It was Fat Sam's Grand Slam from Bugsy Malone - probably the best music choice this series imo because it fitted them and the dance absolutely perfectly.

I love that Gladys Knight song but I don't remember them using it.

I only have one to add to the mix:

Stepping Stone - Duffy (Zoe & James' Rumba)

I really loved their choice, Ricky looked good.

It was Ricky & Natalie who used Stepping Stone. Zoe & James did Out of Reach by Gabrielle.

Most of my favourite tracks this series have already been mentioned.

I also liked the pro Rhumba to 'Frozen' by Madonna.

And the best is yet to come - Jade & Ian's Tango danced to Duran Duran!

Ali and Brian are my favourites but I have to disagree with you on the music. I think Brian has made some dodgy choices. I thought "I gotta feeling" didn't work and I really disliked last weekend's choices. I think the Tango and Samba would both have come across better with different music.

I must say in general that I haven't been mad about the music choices this season. Plus the interpretation by the band and singers have left a lot to be desired at times.

Too Right - Ali's Viennese Waltz
Layla - Laila's Paso Doble
You've Got The Love - Zoe's Paso Doble
Yes Sir That's My Baby - Laila's Charleston
I've Got A Feeling - Ali's Cha Cha Cha
La Isla Bonita - Jade's Salsa
Like An Angel (?) - Laila's American Smooth

No particular order, just in order they came into my head.

LAAAAAAAAAAYLAAAAAAAAAH!! Fabulous.

Runner-up place goes to Fat Sam's Grand Slam though, as Bugsy Malone is a personal favourite of mine (I recently found out that the aforementioned speakeasy was filmed in the old biscuit factory down the road from my house and I almost wet myself )

I love "Lead in My Pencil by Paolo Nutini which is what Ali and Brian did their Charleston to, although I must admit I would have preferred to see it used for a showdance or a lindy hop if there were one (and perhaps for Chris and Ola to have used it instead)

As others have mentioned I loved Bugsy Malone and thought it went really well with the Charleston.

I also thought that Natalie and Vincent's Quickstep music Tu Vuo' Fa L'Americano was brilliant.

Jade & Ian's quickstep music was really great, I loved it when they turned to camera and went 'Oh oh, oh oh' as it was the moment I saw the performer in Jade starting to come out and to my mind when she became the one to watch. Her and injury and withdrawal has to be the definite lowlight of the series

I thought Ola's choice of Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top was excellent for the Tango.

Unfortunately the ability of the celeb's has restricted the choreography this year and some good music choices could not be made full use of. eg Darren's Tango to Under Pressure.
