A Question for you Latin Dancers please

I'm hoping that one of my knowledgable DS friends can help me!

I'm looking for a gift for a very talented 12 year old girl Latin dancer. However, she is here in Hong Kong and I want to buy something when I get back to the UK and send it to her as a surprise.

Her favourite thing, apart from dancing, is watching a DVD of a Latin competition in Blackpool. I've searched Amazon and can't find any other suitable DVDs, I found a UK website but the DVDs were horribly expensive.

She's winning all sorts of competitions here, so her shoes and outfits are recommended by her teachers. And her English isn't very good, so a book wouldn't be much fun for her.

I'd love for her to see some of the Strictly professional dancers but you can't get iplayer here.

Does anyone have any good ideas? Thanks in advance!

If she loves DVDs, I think that is a safe bet. Who is it that she enjoys watching the most? I could recommend plenty for you if you let me know that. And also, I'm sure I could find you a much cheaper website too.

I also have quite a few friends in Hong Kong, do you know who she works with?

I'd say DVD would be your best option too

I have the pro dances uploaded - so you are free to download them and show her that way if you like;

Most are in here somewhere but I am starting to put stuff in this one too

Thanks for your replies you two

Becca, she's a latin dancer and her favourite dance is the cha cha, followed by the Samba. So any DVDs with those dances featured would be great. And if you know of any decent websites to buy from I'd be grateful

We're seeing her mum on Friday before we come home on Sunday, so I'll ask her who she dances with.

Nelli, I can't access the first website over here but the second one seems to work fine. I shall definitely link her to that one - many thanks

Then there are some free instruction videos on YouTub, including by Joanna and Michael.

But does she have a favourite couple? So I can suggest a good DVD that they feature on.

Becca, she speaks only a little English and I'm not sure that N_M's Chinese is up to asking about dancers I will try to find out today after she finishes school.

Thank you soulmate and Laura, that's also given me some great places to look.

I knew you'd all come up trumps for me - thanks guys
