How about if someone bought multiple copies of the Joe CD?

Or multiple downloads? How many different cards do most people have?

It's just not an issue.

to be fair, i didn't know that.

there's probably a difference between people voting more than once, than people buying multiple copies of something they already have.

Viewing figures are calculated by looking at 5000 homes which have a box that records programmes watched and then they simply times that by the rest of the population.

Think about it, if you have one of these boxes monitoring your every channel change wouldn't you think about what you watch? Thus defeating the point of it?

I mean, according to viewing figures, the adult channels have zero viewers as no one who is part of the scheme is going to watch a prono channel knowing it is being watched.

The system is as flawed as hell and the "big shows" always get huge viewing figures that always seem a bit suspect to me. I mean according to viewing figures half (yes HALF) the adult population watched the Saturday final.

Well I was out and about that night I certainly didn't notice half the population missing from the streets.

Yes, I agree, the post you quoted was intended to be tongue in cheek

On this I disagree. I think it's nice to think not everybody likes the same stuff I do. I don't want everyone to be clone of each other.

That's not saying much. They're all pish.

Why would anyone watch the porno channels anyway when you can get it on the net for free?

I agree with the rest of your post though. I was out the night of the final too and the city centre was heaving.
