New Video: MARIAH Carey - 'H.A.T.E. U'
The scenery is gorgeous, she looks stunning and her acting is great, it’s a decent video but it’s boring as hell. Brett had the chance to produce something spectacular and he failed, big time. The concept of the song should have been inspiration for what the video should be about. This wont help the song one bit, there are no memorable or standout moments, it gets better towards the end but too little too late. What a shame.

Really, there's been no big positive responses to anything Mariah's released since Mimi. Touch My Body did go to number 1, but after that, nothing. Bye Bye, I Stay In Love and Loving You Long Time didn't make any impact. Has the biggest comeback of her career (2005) fallen back in to old patterns? What's going on?

I think she's on shakey ground as well to be honest
after an XFactor performance you'd usually expect a top 10..yet she performed 'i stay in love' last year and it bombed, this year she did 'I wanna know what love is' and that limped into the top20.
I don't think the single choices have helped though, there were better songs to release than I stay in love and loving you long time from the last album.
its a simple video for a song that has alot going on in it, but i like it, it is the same beach that appears in her LOVE TAKES TIME video.

Love this song. Did on 1st listen about 2 months ago from the album.
Video isn't special and a whole verse is cut out, however if promo was right, it could do well in the UK so it wouldn't really matter about the video.

You cant expect her to keep having number ones. Anyways even though it didn't go to #1 like TMB it has already surpassed it's sales.
