Hi all,

I have just purchased an LG 42LH3000 LCD and wall-mounted it. Sky HD was installed yesterday and we also now have a Blu-ray player.

For the past week, whilst the TV wasn't mounted on the wall, I've been feeding a signal from my old Sky+ box via a wireless transmitter/sender setup - all was fine.

Now, since Sky HD, the Blu-Ray and the wallmounting have taken place, I can notice a 'disturbance' in the sound on the TV. The source doesn't seem to matter (Freeview, Sky or Blu-Ray), the background noise is still there.

I've tried some different HDMI leads, with the same result and obviously the Freeview doesn't use the HDMI's anyway.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I will try the TV off the wall tonight, just to see if there's a difference, but I'm wondering if I may have to 'cushion' where the TV hangs on the wallmount - maybe there is slight vibration? When I mute the TV, there is no discernable noise (obviously!), so it sounds like the speakers rather than the mount are the source of the problem.

Or maybe the TV needs swapping out.
