I cannot believe this does not its own thread.

It is the one thing I am actually excited about. Who is going to get what score? The Saturday show is nothing. Dance-machine is faborrific!

Looks like there are the guys and then the girls but we'll see. Sort of Premiership and Division 2.

Who will beat Ola? Can anyone beat Darren?

I know everyone reckons Brendan and James could top the board and will Anton get a minus mark?

I have a dance-mat at work and I haven't brought it out for aeons. I feel it calling me now....Mind you, I stick to the bottom level. Can't do two feet at once. Not no way!

Wow, really where do you work?

I am so looking forward to Brendan's turn and am so hoping he also gets 0 as I reckon he'll have a reaction to rival Lilia

I commented elsewhere - only half in jest - that the Dance Machine Challenge is more exciting than Strictly now.

Darren 21,800
Ian 18,300
Ola 5,200
Flavia 1,700
Erin 0
Katya 0
Lilia 0

Have they all done the dance machine? I really want to see Anton on it for some weird reason. I think that would be kind of ammusing

Oo, Brendan gets a "nul points"???? Ya think? We'll see.

I'm a 6th-form teacher. I do loads of groovy stuff ;o)
We sometimes have competitions on it and the kids can use it any breaktime they want. I have had a couple of lads who would totally cream Darren and co.

The whole thing is now becoming a bit of a waste of time. The fact that so many of them are getting zero points and that Ian has no idea how he got 18000 points have rendered the exercise as a bit worthless.

Its one of those things that probably sounded like a great idea when it was suggested but is now losing its appeal.

EDIT: Also the fact that Claude is cutting some segments short inorder to reveal scores is totally wrong.

I love how Erin, Lilia and Katya all have 0

I'd love for Brendan to be right there with them

Oh I see, I was thinking perhaps a toy shop.

It could be very funny if they took the machine out to shopping centres and the pros were challenged by various children. I can just imagine Lilia if she got beaten by a 5 year old

Given that you were talking about sixth formers, that made me feel a bit ed

I love the dance machine challenge! I think they should all have had at least a few goes each, though.

There are 14 faces on the thing that selects them, and only those 2 don't appear.

It's a little frippery that is mildly entertaining!

I think maybe you're not taking this in the spirit it's supposed to be taken......

I think the problem for the dancers is that awful machine they've got - what is that crap?! Get the Dance Dance Revolution in!

The diagonals and the middle pad are making it much harder than needs be.

I'm gutted that Christina's not going to be on it. Any exercise that involves her jumping up and down vigorously is fine by me.

I've played the diagonal middle button one in trocadero arcade, and it is quite a lot harder than Dancing Stage games.

It is a ridiculous track. Sort of Fiddler-on-the-roof. Makes no sense to me but hey!

Nul points. And what about "Don't look down at your feet..."????
I still love it. D'you think Len could have a go? Or Bruno Ants-in-his-pants-ioli? And Claudia?

You can't get minus marks it seems. Shame.... ;o)
It requires an interesting combination of skills and coordination.

Soon. Very soon...

It would be very funny if Claudia did have a go and beat all the pros, considering how good she is at dancing and all that

It really is but I think it really adds to the comedy. I laugh all the way through.

But poor little Vinthenth!

That is one mean dance-machine!

And, laydeez!!!! Come on now. Get in there, Natalie Low-down-mean-Aussie-chick!

I LOVE the dance machine challenge.

It's a hoot for goodness' sake.

I was pretty good at it when my child was at that stage, I'm pretty competitive and the older neices and nephews, sister, daughter friend etc. would have two dance mats out on a friday night and damned well give it some welly.

The pros definitely don't have training in the technique though, and its a hard track to start with, but good on em and it makes me laugh me head off.

I'm a bit gutted Darren didn't stay at the top - but good on James.

Felt a bit sorry for Vincent tonight, but it wasn't nul point at least.

(And I can see that sneaky Jordan having had a go on them once or twice for fun).
