Missed it? I surely did.

You know how the weather has a regular 2-minute slot - well, why can't we have a national dance-machine challenge? Like the Trafalgar Square plinth. Ordinary people and celebs, politicians, the monarch, John Sargent....

Great thread!

I don't play anymore but I used to extensively when I were a student. It was the old Dance Dance Revolution arcade machines without the middle or diagonal pads, just the up-down-left-right.

There were two mats for two players, but you could select doubles mode and it was designed for one player but they had to use both mats, back and forth. Managed to get pretty good at it too

This sounds like an interesting challenge, because I don't watch anything but the main show, I haven't seen some of their efforts.

How many have we got left still to dance, Natalie and Aliona I think, anyone else?

I think it's only Natalie and Aliona to go. I wonder if one of them has beaten James' score? There must a reason why they've kept them to the last surely.

I dint think Kristina and Aliona did it. Someone pointed out they are not on the selector thing. So it's only Natalie left. She's the last one who can try and get a decent score for the girls. The best so far is Ola with 5200 IIRC which compared to the likes of James and Brian really isn't great.

I just love how Lilia clearly isn't over her zero score.

Claudia: How hard is the final Lilia?
Lilia: Well it's not as hard as the dance machine challenge!

(totally paraphrased btw)

That's another classic moment for the SCD archives for sure!

Gutted that Matthew and Brian didn't top the Jordan, but they did distinguish themselves by being better than just about everyone else

I reckon Natalie will thrash everyone and be crowned the Queen of the Machine!

(PS: I totally want one of these now, it looks ace )

If you're interested, this is probably the best single DDR/ITG performance to date:

My Mum and I were thinking the same thing and even thought about buying one for my niece's Christmas so we could have a go!

So it looks like you are better off being a tap dancer than a ballroom or Latin expert!

I think I'll start with this basic one!
