Its all about the showdance. If Brian can choreograph a romantic but fun showdance - a tad Breakfast at tiffany's then they can win this.Classy but fun can win this.

Doubt it - Chris is too far ahead in the public vote for the showdance to affect anything

The showdances come so late in the show that the voting would have to be very close to 50-50 for them to have a chance of making any difference. People have usually made up their minds long before then.

Showdances are too late unless voting is very close.

They've got to get to the final first

Providing they get into the finals I hope they would over-do the romance for their showdance or dances leading up to it.

I think they will go this week.

They should win anyway. The joke entry will fall at the last

Chris has won. They might as well give him the Glitterball and save us the time and expense of 2 more shows.

But this Saturday is going to be the only good show left as it is the only one in which there is the possibility of seeing a couple of good dances and some real competition - even if it is only for the second place slot.

Ali's a bit of a joke next to Ricky anyway so why should she win over him?

Don't forget that a lot of people who haven't voted all series might start voting now so a few things could still change.

What about those of us who want to see two more shows, regardless of who wins?

Some groups are bound to be disappointed this weekend.

Some groups are disappointed every series. That's the way the cookie crumbles on public participation TV.

And of course in life in general too. But moaning is part of the great cycle of life too as I'm sure some philisopher somewhere must of said at least once - or more than once - if they had a moaner in the family.

I'm pretty sure that Tom didn't have the vote sewn up til after his showdance, just as I am that Darren Gough didn't either.

Given that Chris simply isn't as good technically as Ali or Ricky, if he IS in the final and they perform a showstopper it could definitely swing things in their favour.

I agree.

I reckon it was quite tight between him and Rachel up until the Showdance.

But as much as I preferred her, he outdanced and outperformed her in that section and I'm sure many votes will have flooded in at the last minute.

Chris is a bit of a joke next to them both so why should he win?

I like Chris but he is my least favourite out of the 3 left. I am looking forward to seeing his rumba, though. For me that was his best dance and that was in week 1. It'll be interesting to see if he's actually improved or if he's just the same as week 1.

I'm reading a lot of certainty on this forum that Chris has it in the bag and i don't really see it. Unless i've missed something? Where is that coming from?

I see he's topping the poll by a mile on here now when Ali was only a few % behind before so that seems to have jumped but DS is only a small % of the voting public. Is there any other polls or a voting leak or something?

Sorry I went a bit off topic there

I don't really think the showdances make that much of a difference, tbh. I think Darren would have always won over Colin and Tom over Rachel and so on.

There have been reports of stories in The Daily Star (that well-known pillar of the media establishment ) that Chris is way out in front of the public vote.

How true that is though is anyone's guess.

I have to say I voted for Tom on the basis of his showdance last year. It was brilliant. I really cant see Ali doing a "wow" showdance, she's just far too reserved and quiet.

If Chris goes out there with a really fun and entertaining showdance that plays to his strengths, a bit like his charleston, she's had it.

Both chaps are bound to produce something crowd-pleasing.

I just don't see AliBri pulling out a show-stopper UNLESS they do something nobody on here seems to be suggesting: a funny showdance like their Charleston.

I would be tempted to vote for that as it was the one dance that I really enjoyed of theirs. But their fans seem to want romance. Great but I don't think it'll have the wow-factor or knock Chris off his perch.

But not the ones who want to see two more shows. Which was kind of my point.

It must be true

Thanks tabitha x
