Song For Ten for Christmas Number One?
sjames

As there's a lot of campaigns this year to try and get certain songs for all important christmas number one, who's up for trying to get Song For Ten at the top of the charts to celebrate the end of David Tennant's reign as The Doctor?

I'm in! I'll have to download it next week so it's number one on the 20th I think.

You can try but the X Factor winner will probably be Number 1 again. They always are.

No harm in trying -x factor will be number 1 of course but would be nice to see Song for Ten chart .

Wonder will it be played in The end of time ..

Agreed, the song is unlikely to make number one but it's worth a try. If The Muppets and Rage Against The Machine can do it, then so can we!

There's no such thing as the Christmas Number one anymore. It's called the X Factor number one. All these campaigns are utterly futile, because of the marketing machine behind the XF.

I prefer "Love Don't Roam" to be honest I'd rather see that hit number one.

this is the whole reason the X factor won't be stopped: there is ONE X factor song, and a whole arrary of other songs that people camapagin for. This year is actually worse for that point than usual, thus they are all doomed to fail while the XF single outsells the reat of the top 10 (at least) combined.

Love Voyage of the damned thats a fave of mine listening again it does seem to be hinting at the 'Your song is ending' theme to come with that Journey End's reference.Interesting to listen to now ..

So unsurprisingly the song didn't get christmas number one. But we're now going to attempt the new year number one instead on 3rd January!

Not so, as it turns out! It was only number two!

I bought "Song for Ten" on iTunes.

It would be nice if it at least makes the charts.
