E4 HD On Freesat?
Automan
09-12-2009
I see E4 is starting in HD this month (Dec 14).

http://www.e4.com/e4hd.html

No mention of Freesat support and still no mention of CHN4 HD coming to freesat

Whoops
Also talked about a lot at http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s....php?t=1177654

Probably due to the fact that they aren't coming to freesat in the foreseeable future.

that could make some sense why C4hd never went over to freesat, maybe sky wanted to keep them away from the freesat brand and gave them the option to broadcast E4hd - only if they don't go to freesat..

I'm sure they could make room on the freesat satellite if they really wanted too, I just don't buy into the there's no room left.

There is room but it's inconvenient and in some cases paid for by companies not currently using it. Whether you believe it or not lack of usable room on 2D is an issue.
