I don't know if in the VT's the BBC are editing her in a certain way but I don't think it's helping at all.
Why would the BBC invite a new pro to take part and then deliberately try to sabotage her

shes not there to speak but to teach her celeb to dance, personally nothing she says is of remote interest to me and nothing she dances is either but im not supporting her bland celeb but i expect many are. Yes, we are indeed and we take a more tolerant view

(All this I think is irrelevant with Natalie though - I just think they don't know what to do with her and certain comments are blown a bit out of proportion. It wouldn't surprise me AT ALL though if she comes back next year fully in character as psycho-competitive Aussie.) |

No, but the forum is busy enough without clogging it up with repetative threads.
No 'accusations'. Mere fact, it IS what you are doing, you might as well grow some cojones and admit it, it wont hurt you. No it's not slagging off, My OP was a question, and in it I posted positive and negagtive comments. And I don't suppose you ever slag off another couple? Ola & Chris? |

It's not the ultra-competitive persona per se that turns people off. It's the lack of irony. Poor Natalie and, Katya too, have that look of total bewilderment at any send-up (not helped I suspect by the almost toxic levels of botox sending Natalies' eyebrows into her hairline!) because they really haven't had time to acclimatize to the need to 'act' their actual competitiveness into suitably ironic overplay. Compare with for eg Lilia's mock howls of protest at scoring zero on a computer game or Erin's perennial Miss Whiplash act.

Not to sabotage her obviously what is coming out of her mouth are her own words. I just thought maybe to give her a role out of the new pro's. Like the strict one who doesn't take no for and answer and wants perfection. I'm probably well off anyway lol
![]() ![]() Oh and Monkseal if there is only 1 vote for Laila's salsa on your poll its me its my fav as it brings a big grin to my face. |

That's what I thought. I was just going by what missfrankiecat posted.
![]() Unless that botox comment was a joke I just didn't get? ![]() Either that or it was just a really bitchy comment I will think positively and file it under a joke I didn't get

And I don't suppose you ever slag off another couple? Ola & Chris? I have stated many times that I like Chris and Ola. I think Chris is a great guy. I liked their Paso and FT. I think their PR campaign has been nothing but genius. All I have ever said 'against' Chris is that I dont believe him to be the best dancer and therefore should not win because in MY opinion, Dancing wins over Entertainment. No slagging off but a true example of a 'balanced opinion'. |

I'd rate her about as funny as Ola was last year...and about as interesting as most of the pros are most years.
This year Ola has really blossomed and imo and iit is my opinion that her partnership with Chris has been extremely entertaining and the highlight of this series. There is such chemistry between them. The only partnership with no fizzle, chemistry, crackle whatsoever is between Ricky W and Natalie Lowe. Boring, boring, boring. The OP is right, she has not said anything remotely funny or entertaining. At least Ricky Whittle has worn his pants over his trousers - but Miss Lowe comes over as a hard, career driven individual who will get what she wants at all costs and doesn't mind who she has to stamp on to get there. I think Ricky has missed out because of the pairing. I do hope she doesn't come back next year. |

By all means file it under bitchy comment if you think it is wrong to have botox. I'm afraid it's commonplace in tv.

My friend's 24 and uses Botox and isn't even in tv (insert sad-face smillie should you be so inclined). She read some rubbish in a magazine about how it only makes you look silly if you start using it later in life. Otherwise sensible people will surprise you sometimes.
(This is no way a comment on the levels of Botox present in Natalie Lowe. I have no idea, I am but a humble man of the male persuasion.) |

I've always thought she looks about the same as she did when I first saw her in 2004/2005. In fact - I thought her face looked more tired now and a bit older so what do I know! |

This 'look', plus her seeming lack of humour, or irony as another poster has said, and the fact that very little of what she says is memorable, except in a negative way, have all contributed to making her less popular than she may deserve. |

Beats picking on posts because you've got nothing else of interest to write. What's that saying again? The weak shall resort to either nitpicking of grammar, spelling or overuse of smilies. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]():sleep:![]() At least you can be thankful that there is a limit to the use of smilies though! |

I've seen those articles and suprised at how gullible young girls can be. Even though I'll be pushing the wrong side of 30 soon enough - I just couldn't contemplate doing it at my age. Might change my mind when I get older though!

![]() winking smiley. If there's one smiley I wish they would add, it's the vomit one. Conveys so much in just one expression. |
