Will Brucie get his knighthood in the New Year?
There was talk last year that he had to wait so many years from his last 'gong' before he would get another honour and I think that expires in 2010 ....personally I hope so because I do think he deserves it for his years in entertainment considering some of the other people have have been knighted. It would also mean he might retire gracefully and let someone else have a go.

Although it is not a rule or law, generally people are not considered for an honour within five years of having received one. This New Year will mark four years since Bruce's CBE was announced, so I think it is unlikely he will get a Knighthood this time, although not impossible.
