AV sender
Ive got an AV sender and it works fine on the tv downstairs but however when I plug it into the portable tv upstairs. The tv cant seem to handle certain pictures and leads to flickerling or a blue screen.
Does any one know why this would happen. Ive tried with both scart and av leads? |

Blue screen suggests that the TV is muting because there isn't enough picture level coming through via the TV sender. Given that this is happening then it would seem likely that the flickering is more of the same but not as severe.
The reason that you are getting these problems with the TV upstairs is probably just interference. This could be stronger competing signals (digital cordless phones, baby monitors, wireless broadband routers etc) or simply building materials such as foil lined plasterboard and breeze block reducing the signal strength at the receiver. |

I think it might be something else than signals as the phone and broadband is very close to the TV downstairs in fact the modem does cause a little bliping. Every now and then I just turn it off.
But when using it upstairs its colours that seem to effect it full white screen or red. Football is a no but snooker is a yes. There are different broadcasting AV channels so I might try different ones to see if they make any differance. But to me it seems the tv can't handle it? |
