Comedy gold ........I feel sorry for the other singer, he was singing along as though it was his big break

and yet if he was to go on x factor he might not get past the auditions , its a mad world .

I remember watching this at the time, think i had a day off school or something, and was stunned by how god awful it was. Thought i was the only one to find it hilariously bad as no one seemed to mention it afterwards.

It was only when Vic Reeves started using it on Shooting Stars years after that i realised Paul Shanes performance had worked itself into other peoples minds as well as mine! Once seen never forgotten

He also appeared on Saturday Superstore in the hey-day of Hi-De-Hi if memory serves, and during the viewers phone-in section, some bloke got through demanding some money he owed him! I'd love to see a YT clip of that.........
