I noticed recently that Bradley Walsh is set to join Corrie in May and be joined soon after by ex-eastenders actress Carol Harrison (Tiffany's mum). I think it will be nice to have a new family that does not fit in with everybody else! I think the storyline they are going to use will involve Bradley being a lady's man. Let the fireworks roll!!!! Can't wait! I hope Carol Harrison will get the part, she will bounce off of Bradley Walsh's personality really well. They both seem to be really down to earth and very bubbly in themselves.

Noooooooooo! I couldn't stand Carol Harrison in EastEnders (in the old days when I actually watched it). She was forever pouting. It was her permanent expression.... I tell a lie, she had two expressions... "pout", and "full pout" for the really dramatic moments. I was thrilled when she left EE, now she's turning up in my favourite soap. Aaargh, this is terrible news.

I know what you mean about the pout! Hahaha! Hopefully she won't have the same storyline as she did in eastenders and then she won't be miserable in it! My friend saw her recently in a play and said she is extremely good in a comedy. She actually smiles and made the audience laugh! There is hope yet so don't panic!x

carol harrison will be a good addition to the show,i liked her in EE.bradley walsh seems like a low-rent shane richie to me ,but i doubted shane before he came in EE and he has done well.it might give walsh something else to dine out on other than his five-second footie career at brentford about 300 years ago.

Ah I liked Carol in EastEnders actually. I just felt she should have been given a better exit, after all the fizz in the storyline had gone she walks into the Vic, well I'm off nah and then proceeded to have a rant about how pathetic Albert Square is.

Only fititing she should move to the other side, Weatherfield lol Before Eastenders Carol was actually in a comedy called Game On with incidently also starred yer man who plays Jim Branning in EE. She was great in it. I think she would be great for Corrie too.

Go Carol!

Don't think it was Brush Strokes that she had two kids in. Wonder what it was then.

Go Carol!
I agree she should have got an explosive exit as the character she played was that way inclined. Lets hope then that she gets a good chance of getting into corrie for good and hopefully she can show EE exactly what they missed out on, Go Girl! Woman after my own heart!

Also terrible news that Beverley Callard is back PERMANENTLY - those eyes, those lips, that hair, the skirts Aaargh twice!

Particularly the hair. Doesn't she ever run a comb through it?

I'm fascinated by her mouth, and all the lines that have started to appear above the lips from having them pursed so often. It distracts me from the strangled voice.

Old slapper! The way she tries to get him to do what she wants, then complains that he's henpecked when he says no.

I know I can't stand her. She gives grandmothers everywhere a bad name. Her hair is just rank, her clothes are bet onto her, she's just an old tart, she's vile. She's part of the Bev brigade lol

Phew! For once, I really hope that The Sun is telling the truth and that it's not going to be Carol Harrison, but Debra Stephenson. Fingers crossed.

Still not sure about Bradley Walsh being cast though.... as much as I love Corrie, it seems too much of a copycat casting a la Shane Ritchie. Come on Mr Walsh, don't let us down.

According to a soap mag, it is Debra Stevenson who is joining Corrie.

The casting was down to Carol Harrison and Debra Stephenson... Debra got the part. they will begin to appear in May. I believe they might be moving into the Grimshaw's house

Thank god it wasn't CarolHarrison, I couldn't stand her in EE. Not too sure about Bradley Walsh but I hope I'm proved wrong -- Corrie are usually spot-on with casting.

Bradley Walsh will make his debut as Danny Baldwin on Monday 31st May 2004.
His entrance will be massive. Apparently:
"he crashes his prized Porsche into Les Battersby's taxi, thumps Les, fights with Tommy Harris and sleeps with Sunita all in his first week."

Danny's wife, Frankie will arrive on Monday 7th June 2004. She will stir things up with the women on the Street, especially with Karen Mc Donald. She will see herself as being better than everyone else when she's not

Their son, Jamie will be played by Rupert Hill, the actor who currently plays Cameron Davenport in Family Affairs. He will "set temperatures soaring with the females on the Street''.

There will be another boy in the family who has not been cast yet the last I heard. There may also be others in the family but I don't know that for certain and I'm not sure when Jamie and the rest of the family arrive

Yeh Bradley has already shot his first scenes, he had a bloodied nose. I can't wait for the new family to arrive, it sounds like they will be great assets to Corrie.

Although I'll reserve judgement on Bradley Walsh - I've never seen him in any acting role so have no idea what he can do, Debra Stephenson could be a massive assett to Corrie.

Agreed! Debra Stephenson is ace - and a much better choice than Carol Harrison, no offence to the actress!
