I think Ricky will go tonight unless the judges have something up their sleeves to keep their golden boy in. He is not Mr Popular event though he is a brilliant dancer. Alesha coined the word funness - well there is no "funness" between the pairing of Ricky and Natalie Lowe whilst Ali and Brian and Ola and Chris simply ooze it. I think poor Ricky drew the short straw with his professional partner and Ali and Chris struck Gold. I think, at the end of the day, some people vote on the pairing - well I know I do. For me it is not just about the dancing - it is about chemistry and FUNNESS.
Go Team Cola, go Ali and Brian. ![]() All the winners of Strictly have had that bond, I find Natalie's choreography to be sterile and although it is executed well it leaves me cold. Go Team Cola, go Ali and Brian. |

Totally agree with your points here especially about Ricky drawing the short straw with Natalie there is NO doubt he is streets ahead of the other two but there is absolutely no chemistry between the two of them which is essential

She had so much potential, but I don't think she ever quite realised it. Academic though I guess, as Chris Hollins will win next week whoever he's against. |

I think Chris will leave tonight, well unless the GBP have anything to do with it.

As long as Ricky's in the final I'm not bothered who else goes out.
I'd prefer useless Chris to be chucked out (albeit about six weeks to late) but at least if he goes through he'll make either of the others look even better in the final... |

I think you are right and I think it would be right, much as I like him and have enjoyed his progress . In the last three months.

Am very happy that Cola went through, but am very sad that Ali and Brian have gone.
I think most of us assumed that Ricky would go regardless of where he was on the leaderboard because of his clear lack of public support, but clearly no one voted for Ali tonight. A Cola/Ali Brian final would've been a decent end to a pretty awful quality series, but Ricky and Natalie are so dull and sterile, they'll kill next week stone dead. GO TEAM COLA!

Casually, it seems to me all 3 have hardly improved that much. Ricky looked semi-pro from the beginning as if he'd already had a crash-course, Ali looked all the time like she'd been a ballerina in Primary and Chris is still dancing like it's week 3.
I think the public are all too aware that Ricky has tackled this professionally and prefer a couple that approaches it all as good honest fun. The question is, do we really want Chris and Ola roving about on tour and on the chat show sofas as Strictly champions?- what counts more, dancing or personality? |
