RAGE AGAINST THE X FACTOR

best thing I have heard of in years.

Mr Cowells money making machine is about to get a potato in its tail pipe and about time too.

Its momentum is going every day especially now the BBC have came on board (unofficially of course )

XFactor has been a #1 a total of 4 yrs. Maybe XF winners shouldn't automatically get a christmas #1 but it wont be nice that the start of their career gets off to a stuttering career..

not one person if their favourites was still in the comp will be backing this campaign. KITN will just be deleted from their ipods.

But its not just at the start of their career is it

Simon rolls their records out from the start of the Xfactor, he cynically waits till the Xfactor machine starts rolling

Look how many ex Xfactor acts have been in the charts since the start of this series and how the publicity from the Xfactor as gotten them in the charts

Whats wrong with bringing the winners single out for the NewYear chart??

I will tell you why it isnt brought out later, its because the young girlies and grandmas who voted in their droves will have dtarted to move on to something else so the sales will not be as big as the week before

Even if my favorite won the Xfactor I would still buy RATM, I have never bought a winners single as they are naff

All I can say is roll on RATM and next year lets have the Xmas chart race back

I also feel while this show is churning out the Xmas number one year in and year out other good singers/bands etc will just not bother, the competition has been taken away as the show has so many viewers that no one has a hope in hell of surpassing the amount of sales produced from this pile of junk, it is about making money and that makes me even more angry.

Glad to hear another person saying they will be buying it, the more the merrier.

GG”

I agree GG. Even Cliff Richard doesn't seem to bother anymore and now I can't even take the p*ss out of my mum anymore about his only releasing songs at Xmas these days (she luuuurves him)

Yes Christmas has always been about who is number one in the pop charts, though some Christians might disagree with you. Let's reclaim it and we can all stand around the Christmas Tree singing Killing In The Name Of.

RATM has no chance of getting to number 1. Remember last years try, that couldn't even put a dent in the sales figures of the winners song. Give it a couple more years, by then people will be sick of the manipulation and will want a worthy number 1 artist, rather than some manufactured two minute wonder.

Oh don't be so sure that it won't make a difference to Simon
