Hi,

My Freesat box just rebooted again during Strictly Come Dancing (as X Factor was about to start). Has this happened to anyone else?

This happened about two weeks ago too didn't it and was some sort of EPG problem?

I had to tell it to carry on recording BBC One as it didn't continue after the reboot.

OK with Strictly on BBC HD, and X Factor on ITV1 recording simultaneously.

Mine just rebooted as "The 50 funniest films" on E4 was about to start. I was recording something on the Beeb and then pressed record to record E4 as the programme had already started.

Tha has been only the thrid time that my box has rebooted on its own. The last time it did that is when I was sorting the non-freesat channels. Too much sorting @ once, and it just rebooted.....

But apart from that - touch wood - no probs here !!!

My Humax failed to record 'Have I got a Bit More News For You' from BBC 2 England last night. Did the programme get transmitted, or was it dropped because the Snooker overran ?

Me too.

Got a 0min broken file in the root of the Media List, so it tried to start recording, but failed for unknown reason.

I didn't have any clashes as we were watching recordings at that time, and no message popup. I wasn't following the snooker, but suspect something went on.

Rgds.

I was out last night and had scheduled Have I got a bit more news for you as a series linked recording. I went to watch the recording at about 10.30 just after my return home and there was no recording in the media list.

I looked at the schedule and it was still listed with a 12/12 date.

I then looked in the EPG and the time slot on BBC2 was blank. As the EPG reloaded, the gap in the schedule was filled with the Snooker semi-final. Apparently, O'Sullivan won six consecutive frames from 8-2 down and then lost the last frame decider.

Fortunately, I had recorded HIGNFY on friday.

The Monday repeat failed to record for an unknown reason! If it was SCD then I imagine there would be a tirade of abuse ............ Think BBC's end of term report will be "Could do better"

They changed it from the repeat of the ordinary 30 minute version to the extended 40 minute version. I noticed just in time Monday night and set it to record manually. The series CRID changed to that for the extended version so if you had that series linked it should have picked it up (I normally have it series linked but deleted it when I was faffing around on Sunday setting the Monday night repeat to record).

Very odd though - the first time I tried to schedule the extended edition late Monday night it came up with the multiple region clash problem however after performing a full EPG refresh and trying again a couple of minutes later it worked
