When the disco runs out of music

Is it just the slightly poor disco i went to last week or do quite a few clubs and discos end up playing the same music about half a dozen bloody times?I was at one on Thursday last week[not my regular 1,its alot better ]but they must have played the same bloody songs like lady marmalade about half a dozen times in 3 hours!Thank god i showed up late!I get enough of these songs everywhere else without listening to them at max vloume half a dozen times!Me thin ks meel stick with my regular,lot better and they dont run dry.

Disco's should have loads of music.
Or else its not a disco basically...

It depends on what selling point they have used to try to get you in in the first place, I guess. Was it the music (eg "Lisa Lashes confirmed") or the drink (eg "Smirnoff Ice £1.75 per bottle")? Very rare that you'll notice both of these points used to push the same disco night, I find.

If I were you, I'd see if I can get a refund on the door fee. You've obviously been ripped off.

I think you should NEVER play the same song twice at a disco/nightclub or on a radio show/TV show. To me constantly repeating songs (Atlantic 252 was the worst culprit radio-wise) is about as irritating as it gets.

But if radio's on for 24 hours and has to play chart hits, they're gonna run out one time or other
