Honestly it looks like they have been going to the same stylist!

The same comment was made in our household!

Terrible choice of song. If it's sufficiently crude you've got to miss out entire lines then it's not right for SCD. And it didn't exactly lend itself to being danced to (although Matthew and Aliona did a commendable job).

Loved that the band were laughing as she edited out the rude bits.

My OH commented that we'd just been watching her on Casualty!

She used to be so naturally pretty but the psuedo-goth look does not suit her - that dyed black, straw like hair & panda eyes . The dress did n't suit her either made her arms & back look wide & her chest flat & low imho!!!
Come on Lily you are a lovely looking girl; get a decent stylist.
We also were shocked at the choice of song, hubby commented it was after the watershed but surely the beeb know; lots of kids would be allowed to stay up to watch the results. She has at least a couple of other hits that would have been better - shame.

It looks like we were saved from her elephantine legs that get shown in the Mail seemingly every week, by some last minute creativity from the Haberdashery department.
Was she a last minute draft-in ?

I don't watch Casualty, but my Mum and step-Dad who are staying with me said exactly the same thing!

Thankfully Ms. Allen dropped the fright wig and went to a hairdresser. The Casualty girl used to be the youngest Battersby girl back in the day too. Hard to imagine now.

You mean Ruth from Casualty is Toyah Battersby? I didn't know she was in Casualty, but I did used to watch Corrie back then!

Yes exactly. This is her now as Dr Ruth Winters in Casualty. Great character and superb actress. She's been in it for a year or two. Casualty really is very good these days although I still play the "What's the terrible accident going to be?" game, based upon whatever scene we see at the start. (Tonight was a terrible coach crash).
