She should have been through instead of Chris, as she is obviously the better dancer.

Voting hard but couldn't beat the others. A shame but she did well to be the last female in the competition.

If i was able to vote it would have went to ali, absolute disgrace she went out tonight and cannot understand how chris has made it to the final as its a dancing competition and not a popularity contest

Sadly though I don't think that AT was her finest hour.

And her dress was horrible. Why couldn't they put her in something more like Natalie's?

Ali and Brian fans were voting but they upped Ricky (deservedly) so much with all the comments that he should be in the final because of what happeend last week Ali just lost out. Someone had to and it always looked like being one of Ricky or Ali.

I've written many times before that I would not be surprised to find that the votes do fluctuate quite a bit from week to week....and if two or more contestants have similar levels of popularity it doesn't take much of a fluctuation.

Seemingly a lot of people (I suspect too many) pre-judge, choose in advance and vote a particular way almost regardless of performance...but also I think there are many floating voters.

My votes will now be going to Chris and Ola - I voted 50 times but obviously wasn't enough.

She was lacklustre and overmarked!

Sadly she was as dull as dull can be. Yes, of course she's a much better dancer than Chris, but she's also boring.

Brian must be devastated.

I tried to get through for Ali & Brian but lines were constantly busy. I also voted for Ricky to avoid what happened last week. What a shame for the final that such a poor dance pair have gone through. Ali v Ricky would have at least been a competition. Shame on the Cola voters.

I am gutted for Ali and Brian and so wanted them to ge tthrough , but the minute I saw that AT dress my heart plummeted , it did her no favours at all

Tom Chambers beat Rachel last year because he was more likeable....... same with Darren Gough.....

Ali might dance nicely but I can't warm to her so can't be bothered to vote for her. GO TEAM COLA

When will people understand that it is not a dance contest, it is an entertainment show where the public each week are asked to vote for their FAVOURITE couple...not the best dancers.

I would prefer a STRICTLY dance show, but the BBC have made it perfectly clear over the last few years that it is an entertainment show and the public should vote for their favourite dancer.

I voted 4 times for Ali - will be voting for Chris next week.

I noticed that a lot of people said they would vote for their fav couple first , and then vote for Ricky & Natalie second....so Ali & Brian voters may have been responsible for them going out....

I'm pleased for R & N, as I thought ehy were simply sensational, full of emotion and gret dancing..... so I'm a happy bunny!!

HOLD ON! But they haven't danced yet. How can you say who you are going to vote for until you see the final.

It would be very foolish to vote for a couple who may dance badly just because you don't like the other couple. I like Ricky and Natalie but if they mess up then I would feel that they don't deserve to win.

I think people have lost the plot with this DANCE competition.

Irrespective of how he dances? Even if he falls on his backside?

I voted for Ali & Brian, and gutted they are out. As much as I am entertained by Team Cola, it's a travesty that Ali & Brian are out and they're still in.
Imo the competition is Ricky & Natalie's to lose now; can't see Team Cola winning somehow. I am not keen on Ricky & Natalie; they may dance well but I find them boring

I suspect it was less a case of where Ali's voters were but the fact that people (like me) picked up the phone for the first time and voted for Ricky.

totally agree Parric74, it is the thing that really annoys me about all of these reality shows. People make a decision before they have even seen the show. It makes me feel a little bit sad and ashamed of the brainwashed stupidity!
