You're all pathetic. You have no idea how highly strung the situation they're put in is, think the guy should be allowed to smile after all the stress they're put under. The way he commiserated with Ali was sincere. He's a hugely honest, wonderful guy and the way you talk about him like he's manipulative and cheating is disgusting.”

That is your opinion and others are entitled to theirs, to call people with other opinions as pathetic is in fact itself pathetic if you think about it.

I wonder if the OP actually knows what sly means...

1 chiefly dialect a : wise in practical affairs b : displaying cleverness : ingenious
2 a : clever in concealing one's aims or ends : furtive b : lacking in straightforwardness and candor : dissembling
3 : lightly mischievous : roguish <a sly jest>

Now given the tone of the OP rules out option 1 & 3, and given the lack of any attempt to conceal a smile that rules out option 2, what definition is the OP using?....

I cannot believe the amount of people on here spouting such a lot of rubbish. Chris is no fake and he is most certainly not sly. I am speaking as someone that has friends that have had the pleasure of meeting the man, as his father was once the manager of my beloved Swansea City. Also, if he was such a nasty piece of work as many on here seem to think, why would he be saving up photos an autographs of all the top sports personalities that he has ever met and sending them to one of our well known disabled supporters at Swansea?

Considering his father left us a long time ago now, he has no reason to do so but still stays in contact with the said person and checks how she is doing. He is a lovely man who was happy that he ha got through. The campaign on this board against him is ridiculous.

LOL a brilliant post for hypocrisy. Haven't you been calling, on other threads, Chris voters idiotic (for want of other words) - that is their opinion, yet you don't believe they should have it?

I disagree I don't think he is fake or smug like some people are saying.

Just perhaps indifference and I saw a look of guilt from chris tonight when he got throught. Which showed he was being gentleman to Ali.

Let's compare that to calling someone pathetic for, ooh, I don't know... smiling?

Good point I plead guilty as charged hands up I am afraid I have tripped myself up but at least I admit it. I stand by my point though that he does not deserve to be in the final of a dancing competition.

I hope you give me 10 out of 10 for coming back to you.

Fair play.

*The judges have their scores*

Fudd: A grudging 10.
I clocked that sly smile from Chris at the end how pathetic is that little Man. I hope he gets a record low score in the final however it wont matter as he will still win as his poor me act has conned a lot of people.
Evil, evil conman Chris:

"O villain, villain, smiling, damned villain!
My tables,--meet it is I set it down,
That one may smile, and smile, and be a villain;"

(Hamlet about his uncle, one of Shakespeare's villains - who murdered his brother the King and married his widow. "Murder most foul...
But this most foul, strange and unnatural.")

That foul Chris. Smiling... . Smiling! How dare he?

Fair play to the man. He has had good PR and marketing. It has worked well. I acknowledge that.

By next week, all that's going to be covering her naughty bits on the the TV is the steam coming off my panting tongue hanging out.

A really nice guy whose girlfriend works in media marketing. But I am sure that is just a coincidence.

What a nice post!

A lovely antedote to all the hateful spite directed to him on these forums tonight.

Imagine the comments about Natalie, if she'd been daft enough to stand beaming at that point.

I had the same feeling: he seemed a little bit too smiley at the end there. At least Ricky had the decency to look a bit upset for Ali. Chris seemed almost gloaty.

But I'm bound to think that because I don't like Chris & Ola

Woah there! Ali was not in tears, I would guess (given that Chris was the only one of them never to be in a dance off) that both Ali and Ricky expected to be elimenated. Ali was tearless and dignified in being eliminated. Good for her. She most certainly did deserve to be in the final but where's the graciousness (sic) in her defeat when people defend her by calling others out!

You mean the Ali & Brian snog was not a desperate attempt to grab votes....a plan that unfortunately died on its a*se

She was crying at the end. She was hiding her face against Brian's shoulders as they danced...

She may have been in her final dance but who hasn't? James and Vincent in particular, both cried on their elimination. Ricky G did. I am new so not willing to get into an argument. I loved Ali, I think she should've been in the final. She's not. She gave a very gracious exit speech, of course she shed a tear with Brian doing their final dance. Just don't attack people. It's a tv prog, and the public are responsible for the result. Not me, not anyone on here.

I don't want to "get into an argument" either, was just pointing out that it was incorrect to say she wasn't in tears.

She was really nice about getting voted off and I felt really sorry for both of them. I'm annoyed that Chris and Ola are through, not least because I will now have to sit through more of their nauseating training VTs, but thems the breaks on a popularity contest like Strictly. I'm so relieved that Ricky made it though - I wouldn't have bothered watching an Ali/Chris final.
