More integrity lost by the BBC... nothing new there.

No, you have a winner who has been the most consistently popular with the public, or a winner who has been most consistent at combining technique with performance. Both outcomes have their positive points.

I've been voting for Chris and Ola for the last few weeks, but also voted for Ricky tonight as I thought a Chris/Ricky final would be the most enjoyable. Overall I think Ricky should win, but I wanted Chris in the final because I thought it would be more interesting than having Ali there.

There is an assumption being made by some that it was a recent the decision to only have a dance off up to and including the quarter finals. The announcement was recent, but for all we know the decision may have been made at the same time as all the other changes.

On here many people have been saying since it was first introduced, that the producers should stop the dance off in the later stages.

Looks like yet again they listened to the fans and still some people are unhappy.

That's about the size of it.

A dance off isn't supposed to happen with 3 couples and every time it has, it hasn't gone well.

All they did was stop the dance off at the number of couples point, rather than the week reached point. In effect it's been a final spread out over 2 weeks worth of shows instead of the one, that's all.

Seeing as how you seem unable to express an opinion without getting childishly personal, I'd say that any dummy must be yours.
Does your mummy know you're up this late?

It definitely wasn't made at the start of the series, because it said in the rules that there would be a Dance Off up to the final. If you mean the rules were changed at the same time as Jade left they should've been clear about that at the time, really.

You could be right, but I thought there was some blurb on the voting/scoring page on the website at the beginning of the series, that gave the impression exactly what would happen in the last three shows would be made clearer later. To be honest I hadn't looked again before tonight.

What Ginger says - apart from not sure about the final result, will depend on the dances.

The only way to avoid this is to ensure that each year there is a three person final. The BBC should put in a contingency for this.”

Gethin's latin was a bit beige in the early stages and some have said he was over-marked in the later ones so swings and roundabouts. Let it go dear.

I agree with you about a three-person final though - I think a double eviction on the semi-final which could then be converted to a single one would work.
