Did Tess Know?

When she said to Chris "It's a bit early to do a leaving speech yet" (or something like)? I immediately thought she knows Chris is going through.

Also, why do the producers think calling Chris and Ola out last gives more suspense? Everyone knows Chris and Ola were going through so it would have been better to have called them out first.

Not bitter or angry, but disappointed really. Ah well, it wasn't meant to be for Ali and Brian.

I thought exactly the same thing!

I feel for Ali and Brian tonight, and on pure dancing ability thought they should have gone through over Chris and Ola.

However you can't argue with the fact that it was the audience's decision, so fair enough.

As I've said on another thread I don't care who wins, I've never voted for anyone in any series. I just enjoy the entertainment.
But it just means for the non-commited and I bet there's far more of them than those who vote, that instead of enjoying two well executed performances in a final, there'll be only one dancer and a popular munchkin.

But if you don't vote, you can't complain.

Plus, it'll still be entertaining.

That crossed my mind as well. I suppose it is possible. Had the phone lines closed when she said it?

Yes they had which is why I thought she knew.

I very much doubt Tess knew in advance. She was probably just guessing like the rest of us did - I think everyone on the show can tell Chris and Ola are popular, purely from the fact they've never been in the dance off.

I don't think it means she knew. It's just the sort of thing you say to someone when they are anticipating disappointment that might not come their way.
