The winner's song - hardly an inspired choice

A Miley Cyrus song to be sung by Joe or Olly for potential xmas #1 - It is a country song so not ideally suited for either of the X Factor finalists. It was Grammy nominated - but due to eligibility requirements it has now been withdrawn from the nomination.

I've got the DVD that it's from so know the song well and I certainly don't consider it to be a country song - I think of it more as a power ballad.

They should really change this system and allocate a winners song on an individual basis rather than one song by all.

I do believe it was the choice of One Moment In Time that lost Rhydian the 2007 final.

Agree with this. It makes it difficult for those that don't fit the X Factor mold of being a power ballad singer, because the winners song is always a bloody boring power ballad

i agree it always suits the person who sings straight ballads

rhdian didnt stand a chance and it will joe more than anyone else who was in the top 12
