Is Olly going to be humiliated tonight?

Olly doesn't do ballads and the winning song is one. Joe can handle them no problems, he has a lovely voice but Olly no. Take away his chicken dances, his cheeky chappie looks and all you have is mediocre vocals. Are we going to see Olly make a plonker of himself when trying to sing his rendition of The Climb?

On the same hand, I'd like for Joe to do an up-tempo number tonight.

But yes, Olly is awful at slow songs.

They are both rubbish.

Cowell did imply on the Xtra factor last night that Olly was struggling with the song and that there was still work to do before the live show tonight

Its a dreadful song for the winner to have to sing day in day out for the next 3 weeks. I dont envy either of them. But I suspect Joe would enjoy singing it more than Olly. And be more capable as well.

Everyone says the people at XF thought Stacey's was the best.

I can't imagine Olly doing a ballad any justice. He'll probably think some bodypopping is suitable for an emotional ballad.

Joe will make it soppy and emotionless as usual.

The work is basically how high do we turn the volume of the backing track/ backing singers up to drown him out so it looks like he is singing it

Not only is the song dreadful, but it was clearly picked for Joe in the first place, adding to the shows bias.

Hopefully Olly will have the brains to look past tonight, and be aware he'll have a longer music career than the winner.

This seems to be the case, I'm not sure that Olly can do a ballad very well, its not what he is about.
This is why I guestion, what was the point in having a winner s song that is unsuitable for any possible winner other than Joe or Stacey?
It is a stitch up, good and proper and just goes to prove the theorys of manipulation and fixing this series has suffered.
Maybe the public will see this and vote for Olly anyway.

The winners song was really only suitable for Stacey - its really a woman's song and is pop country. Joe should sing it well - but its totally unsuitable for Olly.

It was the same with Leona's winning song. Ray Quin just couldn't sing it well because it was mmore suitable for a woman's voice.

This is the problem with having a winner's song. Depending on who's left in the final it may not suit them at all

Yes, Simon is going to give him a desk job in Syco Records...its what he does best.

Im sure he will manage to slip a few dance moves in somewhere, as he did with "She's the one"

the choice of winning song reminds me of american idol s6 when they picked a sickly sweet ballad which was fine for jordin sparks, but not so much for blake 'the beatboxer' lewis. especially when he wasn't allowed to change it to suit him!

In Queen week (I think it was) he did have a dance move for 'skiing' somewhere in his performance, so who knows

Olly at worst will come second. he will still have a career

I see no humiliation in that

And as of late, 2nd place contestants have done better anyway... Joe winning could end up being his demise.

Maybe it will backfire and he will get a sympathy vote? If the judges go on about the song not suiting him it could happen.

some of you joe fans are very nasty towards olly you in particular,

is it because you are now running scared that Olly might actually WIN.

I'm sure the people voting for Olly dont care less about his singing, they are all voting for his 'amazing' personality and dance moves arn't they. Even if he sung the whole thing out of tune and forgot the words they are still going to vote for him.

I'd laugh out loud if Olly gave an inferior performance of the song and still went on to win ; I'm sure Cowell would have a heart attack.
