You are wrong. Plain and simple. You aren't the only one - my dad's another. He doesn't like mobile phones, microwave ovens, flat screen TVs, computers. He, like you, is ignorant and he thinks that by sitting in a corner tutting or nodding knowingly when anybody contradicts him, makes him appear wise and superior. It doesn't. It makes him appear gormless. So eventually people ignore him and let him sit alone in his blissful, poor quality little world. Is that what your life is like?
The trouble with you is that you keep posting your ill-informed views on these forums and there is a danger that somebody who has not seen any of your previous posts, and has not seen how you have been ridiculed and corrected over and over again, may believe the rubbish that you post. And that is not a good thing for anybody to believe. The top section of forums on DS are for people wanting advice - if you want to express ill-founded opinions that you know are wrong but you just want to cause an argument, go contribute to one of the sub-forums lower down the page - the TV, movies or music pages, or the General Discussion page, where people almost as daft as you can post total bolox and get away with it because nobody expects anybody there to have any knowledge of what they are talking about. But please don't post any more misleading and totally untrue information in the technical advice sections, because if just one person believes the rubbish you write and goes out and makes the wrong purchase because of it, you will have done them, and this forum, a huge disservice.”
I simply give my honest and TRUE opinions on these forums...and I sincerely apologise that I am not jumping with joy regards todays unreliable technology of flat screen TV's of which pack up after a few months.
Why would I wish to 'lie' to anyone who asks for advice? I am again giving my true opinions whether it be a negative or positive answer.
I give my replies from my past experiences...you may have good experiences, I have had bad experiences.
I do not find my posts misleading...but informative - if not different to your opinions. No two people will agree on the same subject of which you obviosuly have difficulty in understanding unless they agree with you.
None of us have approved technical experience within these fields (including yourself) and any replies concerning issues of this nature are only replied to by everyday people (such as yourself) who go by what they personally experience themselves.
You obviously have a very low opinion of your dad (judging by your post) and everyone else (including myself) who do not agree with you. It seems that everyone is 'daft' because they express their own opinions!
Some prefer VHS, some cannot tell the difference between DVD & Blue-ray....so what? each of us is entitled to their own opinions so I find it bizzare that you wish to diss others opinions?
At the end of the day on these forums...anyone asking advice will make their OWN decisions anyway regardless of what advice is given...of which is often confusing anyway.
No one has the rights to judge anyone elses views and I think it is time you accepted the fact that not every single person agrees with your statements.
