While Ricky & Natalie were doing their waltz I kept thinking back to Vincent & Flavia dancing to the same song a couple of years ago. I found that dance moving but not Natalie & Ricky's. Can't really think of any others off the top of my head.

That was around the time that they broke up and it was incredibly sad. Ricky and Natalie's was just a beginner dancing with his teacher in reality BUT it was very good. They do a very good job, of dancing just for eachother.
But that Flavia and Vincent one was the only heartbreakign dance I have ever seen on SCD and that was probably because it was two heart broken people: very sad.
1. Alesha and Matthew's VW was the dance that made me cry the most. It was just the most perfect dance; the music choice was inspired, the choreography fit the music like a glove, their partnership was mesmerizing, and her dress was so beautiful at highlighting the music. And when they performed it in the dance off it held even more resonance- I couldn't see that is how much I was weeping.
2. Alesha and Matthew's Waltz first time around. This dance was so stunning and it was just a great amalgamation of the things make a dance work. And joint second has to be Ricky and Natlie's waltz last night. The song choice was perfect and they are a real partnership.
3. Rachel and Vincent's waltz, they are just so petite and I loved their song choice. Joint third would have to be Alesha and Matthew's foxtrot. She was so elegant and beautiful, if only they hadn't forgotten the choreography for a bit of it.

2) Matt Dawson and Lilia's AS (I was SO proud of him when he pulled that off and that music they danced to sounded so triumphant and so apt as his breakthrough dance);
3) Alesha and Matt's Foxtrot (despite the 'mistakes', I think it's magical);
4) Matt DA and Flavia's Waltz
5) Gethin and Camilla's Rhumba (I know, i am wierd that way
6) Tom and Camilla's Waltz (Mooooon River!!!)
And in series three (watched in youtube):
7) Colin and Erin's American Smooth.
