Things will come back and bite them on the ass, they've totally lost track of public opinion.

)
Have they? I read that the tickets to see J&E have sold the quickest (and have gone for a higher price). Viewing figures when they appeared on The Late Show were among one of the highest ever - not to mention the ratings of x-factor itself when the twins were on. I stand corrected if this is wrong (as I canīt remember the sources). But if the articles Iīve read were true, it would suggest they are extremely popular.

Sounds like a good laugh! Macca and Jedward have both got a good sense of humour!
Maybe Sir Paul has also been affected by the same 'twins make me feel x decades younger' that Louis (and others ) has admitted to. Who wouldn't pass up a chance to perform with John and Edward if its going to make you fell 18 again?

I'm afraid after all this anticipation all we will get is a fleeting glimpse of the twins bopping in the background of a massive group number.
I'm worried of that happening too.

However, surely even Simon could see that just them and Macca would be a memorable X Factor moment that would get the show a few extra headlines tomorrow beyond the winner.

This is probably more like it, of course Louis is going to talk it up but probably it will be all 12 finalists involved.

Well if it is just them and Macca then there's every possibility he's requested them.

Not to mention the fact they have been the most talked about act this series.

Its weird though, a lot of places are reporting that it's a group performance, whereas Louis is very much touting it as just Macca and Jedward.

Plus they were saying it was going to be Drive My Car, which would be a better song imo.
Yeah Crazy Thing Called Love would be an odd choice as it's not a McCartney song and Lloyd sang it already. Drive My Car would be fantastic

Don't know why everyone's complaining about it, I think it'll be hilarious and everyone will tune in to see it. You all know you will

Cmon Paul McCartney's been involved in worse partnerships

*cough*Heather Mills*cough*

Yes, they're my favourite, but people like other acts too.

Chances are it'll probably be a group number anyway.

Maybe Macca will do a Beatles medley and different acts will sing different bits with him? That would work nicely.

They are the most popular act of this year. I won't go through the whole list, but which other contestant from this year has had a two-page interview in The Times, done photoshoots for everyone from Heat and Grazia to i.d (also appearing in their portrait exhibition) and Esquire, appeared on Sky news (and had their interview used as an advert for the channel), had a 2 hour TV presenting job on 4Music, they are now charging more than the other X Factor contestants for future club appearances, there are the film and music rumours, etc, etc.

I haven't really seen anything of the others aside from what they are contractually obliged to do, the morning tv circuit, the club shows, etc.

He did say a few weeks ago that he was a fan of theirs - maybe it was a special request?

I'm not sure I believe it, but it's going to be IMMENSE if true.

Respect to Mr McCartney if true, he's got a great sense of humour.

Stranger things have happened

Same Difference making the X Factor final two years ago is one that comes to mind.

I'm ready now. Have my glass of wine and my chocolate raisins ready. Am excited for Jedward and Macca to a frankly inappropriate degree.

*Taps fingers impatiently*

I hope the haters don't boo like they normally do. It's water off a duck's back for Jedward but I don't think Macca's used to that kind of reaction!
