WTH!

Their we go again JLS and Alexandra performing on the Xfactor again!

Watch out for ITUNES "Bad Boys" and "Everbody in Love" will climb up the charts!
Everybody in love is such an average song, listened to it around 30-40 times does nothing 4 me!

At the moment, the three biggest things to have came from the show are Alex, JLS and Leona. Incidentally it's almost Christmas where album sales are higher, and the show is massive promotion.

If someone else was on they'd be no money for Simon, ey.

give it a rest, eh?

it was an incredible performance, and i for one loved it. not everyone has to, but if you don't like it then don't watch or don't listen - it's not rocket science.

plenty of people would be complaining about simon forgetting about them or letting them flounder if they didn't put in an appearance, so he can't really win.

if you don't like them, that's your perogative. but after that performance you can't question their talent - it's not their fault if artists you favour don't chart as well as them, or get the exposure they get.

timperry stating the obvious yet again. Artists performing on popular shows may see their sales rise! It gets dark at night! Something about Jay Sean!

It's not about loving it or not, it's about the clear reasons behind it... free promotion on a massive scale.

Most people who perform on the Xfactor do really well, at least in the singles chart, because so many people watch it.

The show is alright, but there's so much blatant sucking up to itself and Simon all in the aid of making more money.

It's alright, though, because they'll be forgotten about in a couple of years and will be demoted to playing student unions and night clubs.

It's because when I see your name I expect at least one of four things: random capitalising of words, the use of LOL and exclamation points, Jay Sean, and gobsmacking irrelevance.

You often get a full house.

my issue is less about the merits, or lack of, of the x factor, more with the OP's constant repertitve posts about how much he detests it and finds it incredulous that popular artists sell more records than his beloved jay sean

amazing how good these acts are that brilliant they need the xfactor to sell records cause if they didn't they'd end up like

Shane ward, Leon, the fat scottish bird, Steve brookstein.

That makes little sense, considering the acts you mentioned were also on the same show that apparently guarantees success.

two x factor performances for each of them in the same year - not to mention that Leona has been back every year since she won it...

...and who ever said they're not still living off the show?!

But they arent really living off the show..

Beat Again got to number 1 without the x factor
& Everybody in love would have aswell.. was already number 1 on itunes before their performance

Same with Alexandra and Bad Boys

Yeh but
What other artist gets to be on a show like Xfactor, with an audience of 15+ million

All the work done 4 them, regarding publicity

The hard working artists that actually go around gigging, deserve much more

Lady GaGa, Rihanna, BEPs, Beyonce, Shakira, Alicia Keys, Robbie Williams, Paul Mcartney, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Micheal Buble and Whitney Houston......oh and Janet Jackson.
Established acts can perform on XF to promote their singles you know.
I wonder if your opinion would change if Jay Sean performed on XF.

Acts that go around touring also earn money from ticket sales, which is a more dependable source of income than recorded music.
