Its all about money. More adverts more money for ITV. Last saturdays show was shorter and there where more contestants.

I once meant to time the actual signing in an XFactor show but it can't be much more than 30 mins, probably a lot less.
It bugs me how they won't even risk letting them sing the whole song in case the poor audience get bored and look for the remote down the side of the sofa cushion.
