Olly did better than expected but Joe was and will always be better.

I really liked Olly's version!
I'm actually impressed with him after that.
Well done to him

Joe sang it better imo.

Loved Olly's version.......his style of singing for me made it original, he had the emotion for it.

Joe......no emotion, no connection with the audience and at some points a vacant expression.

Based on that, (and how I decide a winner most of the time) Olly is the winner for me! He has really stepped it up a notch this week, way more than Joe has all!

Prefer Olly

Joe should have had a massive advantage after Olly's pretty off vocals but... Joe didn't. He lost the advantage by not putting in enough effort. Joe played it too safe. Will it cost him?

I've never liked Olly but I agree his version was better - his emotions made it.

Joe's was technically better but Olly's had more emotion and grit to it.
I preferred Olly's.

I found Joe's performance very bland and unmoving, to be honest. Even when the choir kicked it it was lacking.

Well Cheryl calls it effortless and that is exactly what it was, no effort at all to show the emotion of the song, Olly sang his heart out and we got to hear what a really good voice he has, Olly should win this easy.

I loved Olly's version, much more emotion and he sang his heart out! Thought is was the best he has ever sung!

Joe was technically better but did nothing for me.

I agree with all of that.

Totally agree, Joe completely outsung Olly! Joe put more emotion into the song and hit all the high notes. I thought that Olly was awful at the beginning. You could not hear him at all!

I'm not sure he sang it better but I thought it definitely was the version I'd prefer to hear on the radio
