The Beatles won't sell on iTunes because of the dispute over rights of the name Apple... totally petty.

After his collaboration with Peter Kay on his X Factor spoiler last year, I think we all know what Simon really meant when he said

"It doesn't get any better than that."

i.e. you got owned. Thanks very much.

OOh, sweet Jesus, WHAT IN GODS NAME is one of the greatest icons (albeit aged now) doing in the shitest of the shit shows in the history of shit shows. My buttocks are clenching in disgust at the thought of him performing with total amateurs. What would John Lennon think!! He must be spinning in his grave

I have no respect for any rich old guy who marries a younger "attractive" woman and doesn't seem to realise what the deal is, it's also very annoying when the women try to deny that they're only with them for the money.

also to me Paul McCartney has always just came across as a bit of a douchebag.

HE is WITHOUT A DOUBT the greatest person, the greatest artist, the most PHENOMENAL person to ever step foot inside a recording studio. WOW. WHAT A LEGEND. I was shaking watching that, crying. JUST INSANE.

THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER PAUL MCCARTNEY.
WE MUST TREASURE HIM.

PAUL I LOVE YOU

I'm well aware of the musical legacy - that's why I think it's a shame to tarnish it by selling out to a tawdry reality show - especially when your voice is no longer up to doing justice to your classic compositions.

Macca's a hypocrite too!!!!!

http://www.nme.com/news/paul-mccartney/41278

Quote:
Paul McCartney has slammed reality TV music shows like 'The X Factor', saying there are too many of them on the box.

The former Beatle said that reality music shows didn't encourage creativity, and said he hoped the current interest in them was a passing phase.

"I think there is too much of it," he said. "You can't turn on the telly without somebody being judged by four people, whether they are on ice, on the stage or in the jungle.

"I'm not very keen on it. I watch it like everybody. It's compulsive viewing, but so is a traffic accident."

Not a great performance from him - an off night vocally.

Not sure what he gained from that...
