Rubbish. The lines have been open for Olly and Joe for at least 24 hours.

I dont believe for one minute that you havent been able to vote for Olly in all that time.

I couldn't get through to vote for Joe either for about 10 minutes before 9 tonight.

So I reckon people should stfu and just accept Joe genuinely won.

I couldnt tonight. I got a message saying the number (which was correct as I checked over and over again) was not in use.

He is a great singer. Cannot take that away from him. But I do not know who would pay to see him.

How would you know if it was rubbish. Maybe the poster wasn't trying for 24 hrs.

If people think that there are a set number of dedicated lines for each act and they rang ANY time and got through, they would very reasonably think that the system was unfair and they would be right if that was indeed the system, but it isn't.

That winning song was not chosen with Olly in mind, Stacy, Joe and Danyl were the ballad people. Tonight it was obvious Joe was the chosen one.

I know it was rubbish.......I replied to the other posters when she said, "I could not get through to vote for Olly."

That statement is rubbish......completely wrong. And the reason why it is rubbish is because the lines have been open for at least 24 hours.

The poster did not specify that she had only been trying as tonights programme was on.

I would cry fix but the public just like boring crap in the charts! Plus they needed a singer who could be easily beaten in the charts by RATM or someone else!

Oh totally.

Same old shit every year in the papers:

I couldn't get through on the loser's phone line.
I heard the wrong confirmation message when I voted for my act.

et al.

People can't just accept that one act received more votes than their favourite did.

You couldn't possibly know that it was rubbish unless you were with the poster during that 24 hrs, The fact that the poster didn't specify is yet more reason for why you can't know if the poster could or couldn't get through on the attempts made.

Well Joe *did* perform last again, and he *did* have a far better song to sing than Olly (Don't Stop Believing > Twist and Shout, ffs). I wouldn't be suprised if Simon "strongly advised" Olly to go for TAS actually. Plus the winners song suited Joe alot more than it did Olly, and Joe's celebrity duet partner got to perform his new single (just like Beyonce and Kylie Minogue after they performed with Alexandra and Leon giving Joe a possible advantage.

The judges comments were very telling as well, with Louis saying Joe had the edge over Olly and Cheryl bursting into tears and Dannii saying last night that she wanted Joe and Stacey in the final two. Simon gave Joe alot more praise than Olly.

I liked Joe but there's no denying he didn't get some special treatment tonight.
