For once La Cowell was actually talking a bit of sense. If you get dropped you should persevere until you get picked up by somebody else. If you got it, you got it.

Except that Cowell denies them the chance to make it happen by binding all the finalists to his company for a minimum term so if he doesn't make it happen for them they are not free to work for anyone else!

Whats wrong with afterwords. Does the world come to an end when your contract runs out. You hear of some struggling for years till they get the big break. In any genre.
I hope Leon will make it again, with talent like that he deserves to.
