So glad Olly didnt win because...

As a long time Olly supporter (I was at his first audition) I have voted for him week on week and voted loads this weekend. Even though it ocurred to me that dreadful winners song could finish his career before it had even started.

Tonight was the first ever time he looked uncomfortable, and Cowell admitted last night Olly was struggling with the song.

Being runner-up will be the best thing ever to happen to Olly. Good luck to him, he is charming, honest and very determined. he will go far, and I think he is wonderful.

agree with you 100%. Think it's better to come 2nd on shows like this. You get more freedom etc.

You may be right, ah well he will certainly pull in the audience for the tour.

Yeah I see what u mean, think this will be a bit like last year and he will be more successful by coming 2nd.

I think I'm right and though I'm gutted he didn't win, in the long run its the best thing that could have happened. He will have a single that suits his voice (which came into its own tonight, never understood why people said he is a weak singer).

Tonight we have seen the makings of a star.
