I'd love to know how much these would actually cost, why would millions tune into these at this time?
Very good ratings for most last night, the stand out being Emmerdale breaking ~9m. The other soaps did well, as did Silent Witness... I did read though on Torvill and Dean's Twitter than the show tonight for DOI is live (I thought it was just going to be a load of VT's), which IMO will actually do very well if it is indeed live.
CBB is holding up well, while The Bill can only just get 4.5m, which is... pitiful.
A few interesting statistics based on BARB's latest update with the all-day shares:
BBC1 - 23.9%
ITV1 - 15.8%
BBC2 - 8.0%
Channel 4 - 5.9%
Five - 3.8%
- BBC1's share is the highest since the 26.9% recorded during Wimbledon 2009
- ITV1's share is the lowest since the 14.5% recorded w/e 23rd August, 2009
- BBC2's share is the highest since the 9.7% recorded w/e 23rd August, 2009
- Five's share is the lowest since the 3.4% recorded w/e 15th March, 1998
