Yep, and even the BBC is dabbling with them. I haven't seen it but the presenter on BBC Radio Northampton this morning said Material Girl fits this category very well!

That's a great E4 rating for Shameless, particularly at 11pm.

Some massive timeshifts there and every episode of EE and CS over 11m that week. Silent Witness the big winner going from 7.3m to 8.56m for the first episode and from 6.7m to 7.8m for the second.

Casualty with nearly +1m for the second week running.

Above Suspicion also well up and Hustle finishing with 6.82m against it.

But are these timeshifts in line with what happened at this time last year?

Am I right in saying that the timeshifts now include VM VOD?

I'm glad to be back, got my wrist slapped so to speak!

Sad ratings for Amanda Holden once again, will anything ever work on a Tuesday evening for ITV 1?

This must be their version of the BBC1 Monday night syndrome from the pre Eastenders days when BBC1, seeing huge opposition from the Krypton Factor, Coronation St, the sitcom, World in Action and a top drama at 9pm, waved the white flag. Maybe ITV1 have decided to do the same.

the uktv guide just updated the schedules for that week and they have confirmed that EastEnders will have an episode on Wednesday 24th February because of the rugby match on the Friday: http://uk-tv-guide.com/programme-det...stEnders/Soap/

Looking at the officials some things to note:

*It's the first time Corrie's been the number one show of the week since August last year.
*DOI launch show was a lot higher than last year (8.83 V 9.64)
*WAH's first show (8.55m) rated higher than every single other episode that aired last year, even though since then the series appears to have been down.
*Also, surprisingly Casualty is up on the equivalent episode from last year (7.14 V 7.24)

The BSI strikes again. Why are the they airing 'Total Wipeout' from 5:30pm when they could easily shift it back to 6:15pm and have 'The Weakest Link' on earlier?!

Looks like TW is another repeat, although I thought we were going to get episode two of the new series that night.

Weakest Link is an EastEnders special

Probably no stripping.

That really is a bizarre slot for The Weakest Link. I can't recall it ever going out that late. It won't feel right.

AM or PM, because if it's AM then shame on the BBC for competing head on with Channel 4. Unless it's to attract game show viewers to that slot then good on BBC.

If it's PM - WTF are they thinking! Put it on Cbeebies at that time to send the Kids to sleep.
