Just spotted it on amazon for 29p a great deal !!!

unless it costs at least 40p, it won't contribute to the singles chart so it won't help him in getting the number one spot.

i don't know whats going on there but most people would buy it from HMV, Virgin, WHSmiths ect so it doesn't matter

As long as the dealer is being charged a minimum of 32p by the record company, it counts.

think about it,if Mister Cowell is so worried about the artist winning the coveted christmas number one,do you honestly think that he will let people buy it from places that dont count towards the charts

also according to Radio 5 live amazon are taking a loss on these downloads which means they bought them over the chart threshold

Amazon and co have to pay 40p for the track, and they can sell it for whatever they please and it will still be counted. They are selling the track at a loss to boost the popularity of their music service.

You'll be able to get a cd of it for at least 50p when the charity shops get hold of a few.
