Throughout the whole of this series I have been extremely uncomfortable with Simon Cowell's (and Cheryl but not always) lack of interaction (the live shows, auditions, Xtra Factor), seemingly deliberate ignoring and generally the whole treatment towards Dannii. For me she has truly shone during this season of X Factor and been acknowledged for her grace, dignity, mentoring and constructive criticisms of the contestants. (Sidetrack- she picked Nicole to win in the secret ballot LMAO) But anyway secretly inside she must be hurt by the total disregard she gets from Simon, just like anyone else would be no matter how well some disguises this from the exterior. Am I the only one who finds this behaviour dispicable?

yep me too, i mean shes had to get friendly with louis just for someone to talk to. But you know something i don't think she will care, shes too classy to lower herself to ass licking like mrs cole.

There was one episode of xtra factor that made me feel really sorry for her; when they were taking phone calls, Holly never asked Dannii for her choice and she didn't make or get asked to make a single comment. She literally didn't say a word for the whole segment - it was like she wasn't there.

Dannii has been severly ignored and underrated and it sucks because shes the best judge and was voted best judge twice on The X-Factor website and other polls and we all love her here on DS.

I just hope that she isnt forced out of next years show and that it is her decision and nobody elses. Its nauseating to see Simon and Cheryl pander and purring at each other. Both pathetic!

The attention he gives to Cheryl Cole (something which is starting to verge on creepy and inappropriate now) makes his disregard of Dannii all the more apparent .

I LOVE DANNII and she didn't deserve this treatment.

I don't get why the OP is talking about Cheryl though. She's always perfectly nice to Dannii (and I don't like her at all, so I'm not making excuses for her.)

That would make Holly quite a fair-weather friend. I wouldn't be surprised though, Holly has shown quite a mean side to her personality this series.

Man the word bullying seems to have lost any meaning with the complete hysterics that take place on DS.

I think Dannii doesn't interact with the other judges much, but generally she's not as controversial or opinionated. She tends to stick to discussing their singing performance, normally in a neutral way. Whereas it's when the others are bickering that they tend to interact most.

It's weird that the media seem to have something against Danni, yet the majority of the public really like her.

IF they are ignoring her, they should stop being childish towards her. I also can't imagine Holly freezing her out either. If she did I'd be shocked at how fake her niceness is.

First off,Cheryl has done nothing,the only person I ever saw ignoring Dannii this year was Simon. I don't see why Cheryl always gets dragged into these conversations when we can all see them giggling and chatting every week.

Secondly it's funny how nobody minded about Simon's bias towards younger women on the panel when it was Series 4,and it was Dannii who had "Simon's head up her arse", and she was Simon's Chosen One,so to speak. And I doubt anyone would be going "Oh poor Cheryl is being bullied" if it was the other way round now.

Well, that's fine. I like Dannii nearly as much as I like Cheryl. I just don't like to think of Dannii being bullied, that's all.

I know. He's like a middle aged Sugar Daddy fawning over his much younger trophy girlfriend. Its very creepy and I wish she'd tell him to leave her alone.

I think it's because she does it her way. They can't control her.

I think she's been treated badly, but at the same time, she has shone so much that what they do and write about her fades away.
She's a perfect example of having complete focus on yourself.

I don't care if Simon doesn't kiss and cuddle with her.
She's her own woman and she doesn't need his support.
He has opened the door for her and now it's up to her what she will do with it.
Who knows, one day she might be bigger than him with her own show beating his

Holly supposedly gets on quite well with Dannii, so I doubt it was deliberate! Dannii isn't overly outspoken. She doesn't go for the blunt critiques that Simon does (or Louis sometimes). Hence why nearly all interaction on the panel goes through Simon because the other judges can get angry at what he says. You don't see a huge amount of Cheryl/Louis banter on the main show either unless he's agreeing with Simon about something then she tells them to shut up like naughty schoolboys! The Xtra Factor panel mainly revolves around Simon insulting and winding up Louis and sometimes Cheryl (and them doing it back).

Tonight, when he sarcastically remarked on Dannii's spectacularly wrong prediction, even thought she laughed, we were treated to a predictable "bullying" thread on here. If he can't take the pi*s out of her, they won't interact. He doesn't exactly sit around on Xtra Factor dishing out compliments for the judges.

A few weeks ago he was talking about how he and Louis can argue because they have been friends for ages and know each other so well. It seems that this forum has decided that Simon and Dannii aren't close enough that he should be allowed to say anything bad about her. Which means he won't have anything to say about her on the show! I think that of all of them (judges only), Simon isn't as close to Dannii as he is with Louis or Cheryl which is possibly playing a part in it.

If he seriously disliked her, she'd have got the groups or, more simply, been fired.

What gets to me is a lot of people seem to think Cheryl is the wonderful uber godess. I slated her on Facebook a few weeks back and was torn to shreds by several people. Im tired of reading status' saying how much of an "inspiration" Cheryl is, what the hell has she ever done to to have such praise lavished upon her? Apart from firmly implanting herself in Simon's bottom obviousley

Dannii is much more classy in my opinion, more elegant than Cheryl. But she won't be controled, she's her own woman and Simon cant stand that.

It's like if you see someone being bullied, if you don't do anything to try stop it then you're as bad as the bully. I want Cheryl to stop being glued to Simon and show some support for Dannii. They should be walking out at the start linked, I wanted to see Cheryl interact with Dannii and stand up for her...or at least bloody aknowldge her as much as Simon!

But Dannii is great, independant and doesn't care what others think of her or how much Simon loves her. An inspiration
