I think it's an excellent song. Best winners song by a long way.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks it was a poor choice.

Go listen to the previous winner's song. If that doesn't help, put Pitbull on repeat. Still seems crap?

I think you are being a bit extreme, but obviously it is a mundane song and not worthy of Joe.

I thought it couldn't get possibly any worse after That's My Gooooaaallllllll four years ago.

But it has, every year.

But there, you only need to listen to Leona Lewis squealing on about being Happpiiieeeyyyeeiiieeeyyyyeeeiiiyyy and the godawful Cheryl Cole and Alexandra Burke songs we've recently been subjected to, to see the appalling influence that 'generation X Factor' has had on British music.

Is this really the same country that brought the world the Beatles, Sir Edward Elgar, Led Zeppelin, Queen, the Rolling Stones etc etc?

I wish the winners song would be an original Christmas type song each year. At least that way we might get a few more Christmas songs on the radio at this time of year rather than the usual Slade/ Mud/ McCartney etc dross.

can someone request a poll from the mods? i dont know how.

personally, the fact i am finding myself singing along to it whenever I hear it seems to indicate I like it!
FGS, What was everyone expecting? Its an X Factor song and a Miley Cyrus track - of course it was going to be a choir-backed power ballad! havent you learnt to expect these singles yet?

You are right, it is rather poor choice, they never give them good ones though, Alex last year had the best one but was a cover. I think Simon Cowell maybe knows the media side of music and can hype anyone to stardom but he can't back it up with decent songs for his singers, Leona still in my eyes hasn't released anything near what she deserves, she is awesome singer but weak songs apart from Run but again another cover.

Simon always hope to sell worldwide so a Christmas song wouldn't work as it would be out of date in a week!

I didn't know the song at all but not exactly a great tune. Dull as dishwater imo.

Absolutely shockingly bad.

The best winners song in any of these reality shows was Sound of the Underground for Girls Aloud, it was catchy and edgy. That sold by the bucketload and proved that it doesn't have to be the same old drab ballad every year. Therefore, why exactly are we subjected to the same old drab ballad every year?!
