I'm not a fan of Joe's but his duet, to me, was the only proper vocal duet. They each sang their part then together with a perfect one third harmony. If the others had tried that it would have been a train wreck.
Also, with Robbie's fluff as he came on, isn't that what Jedward were so harshly put down for the week they did 'We will Rock You' ?
Olly and Robbie was quite sickening to watch. A couple of talentless, irritating wide boys who've become successful because some dumbasses find barely-good-looking cocky hetero dudes to be the epitome of brilliant musician/showman -ship.
I didn't like Wham and don't much care for George Michael or his music. I also wanted Olly to win.
However, Joe and George were miles ahead. As has been mentioned - they used harmony - were together - and just out classed the other two duets by miles.
Oh, hang on, out of the competitors................
Shall we go for the drunk brothers at a wedding? Or Buble and Squeak? Or Predator and Prey? (very very very bad and tasteless joke about the last one.......)
I thought Stacey and Buble were the most real duet and worked the best for that reason.
Obviously Olly and Robbie was hilarious - like drunk guys at the end of the night and George and Joe there was no actual duet just him singing then Joe singing and no rapport.
Yep Buble and Stacey were the best for me on the duets.
