Does the humax Freesat+ update automatically or do I have to rescan to get new channels.I have just read this
Freesat has today announced the launch of Food Network onto the platform from today, Monday 14 December 2009, on channel 405. but no sign of it on the EPG

You will be prompted to do a rescan when they change the EPG.

Freesat has today announced the launch of Food Network onto the platform from today, Monday 14 December 2009, on channel 405. but no sign of it on the EPG
The hdr will give you a mesage eventually sayimg new channels found and will then do it automatically. Once the update is transmitted (check the freesat update log) then you can do it manually by initiating a freesat channel scan

You will be prompted to do a rescan when they change the EPG.
Only the next time you bring the box out of Standby, and it is not recording.

It's being transmitted now so if you want it do a freesat scan

Just got round to having at look at this channel, I see they use only Series CRIDs, without a Prog CRID, and I noticed a few programmes with no CRIDs whatsover.
