I thought she came in for some rather undeserved bashing... almost as if people forget that LeLe PWNS. I loved her performance last night... I thought she sang SCYHO really well and I say that as a Noel and Liam stan.


ETA: And she looked Beautiful.. and in anticipation of anyone trying to be nasty stating that she 'looks like a horse'.. horses are gorgeous, affectionate and graceful.

yea i thought it was great - i think its more because people want to see something different from her, show her versatility because at least half her album is mid to uptempo love letter/outta my head/ i got you/ alive etc etc and i think she should show that off more because she is really good at it and its really uplifting - although i do think she was INCREDIBLE on the second half, and i think very very few people could pull that off.

Although i would change your x factor heirarchy lol

Princesses - LEONA and ALEX - Im thinking leona is the more prince william (regal, bit calmer) ALEX more prince Harry (ill do it my way, more outgoing and lively) and i think Dannii too.

Princes - JLS as much as they were runners up they have done amazing, Potentially JOE but who knows.

Court Jester - Sadly Leon and Steve Brookstein, and obviously louis!

She sounded good but personally I was bored - why? because we've seen it all before, every performance is the same and IMO she hasn't progressed anywhere since she won the show.

She may as well have been singing Bleeding Love or Run or Happy because they all sound the same now - she just stands there with her big dress on and thats it really.

Personally the highlight of the whole show was JLS/ Alex - absolutely brilliant performance

She's an easy target for the haters because she has a talent 99% of people can only dream of, and unlike some of her fellow artists, is an elegant, polite and genuine person with it. That drives some people CRAZY In my opinion, she's a wonderful role model to women of all ages, and if I ever had a daughter I'd want her to carry herself just like Leona does Let the haters hate, they're showing themselves up

I've just read your post and I was bored - why? Because its the same old, same old. Both here and in your incarnation on Buzzjack (ElectroBoy).

She's doing what she's best at - ballads/mid-tempos. Maybe BL/Run/SCYHO all sound the same to you but to others its pretty obvious that they're definitely not and that each has its own unique appeal.

Maybe she stands there in a dress singing ballads most of the time, but equally JLS stick to standing there with their tight shirts on with the only different moment in each song being trying to work out where Aston will pull his shirt up to flash his abs.

Agree re JLS/Alex though - it was a brilliant performance.

I like Leona a lot and I have both her albums but I have bored of her recently. She's got a great voice but that's all there seems to be to LeLe.

I hate that Leona. I cannot believe, that as a singer, she SINGS (live and amazingly) and delivers an amazing, emotion-filled performance all the time.
No but in all seriousness, personally I'm bored of all the miming and the rubbish poppy meaningless songs that most artists at the moment spout. It's so predictable. She's the only singer that actually sings beautiful songs (and in the case of SCYHO does emotional interpretations of them). If she started singing poppy songs all the time and shaking her booty, she'll be just like all the other artists out there - what's the point of that? I certainly don't want that!
