A friend told me that in Rio de Janeiro everybody walks around in their bathing suit (even in the city centre) and that has always sounded like such an appealing idea. If it was hot enough in Britain maybe I would definitely wear my bikini to Sainsbury’s.
Sounds most appealing! What do you look like? I assume you could carry this off without ridicule? Near me, it tends unfortunately to be the opposite. Ladies and gents who really should know better wearing things that only disclose their penchant for eating all the pies.

I live in student accomodation and people do it all the time, there's a co-op over the road that's full of students in PJs and UGGs! I daren't do it though

But if you are the type of guy that can excuse a couple of imperfections in a girl over 30, then I will stick to the whole bikini look; I am kind of hoping that Brazilian men fall into the latter category (and that heat generally makes men more appreciative - i.e. more horny and not too fussed over details - of the non-airbrushed female body). |

Only time I have ever worn them out was when I was uni and Blockbuster was right next door to halls.
Couple of us thought noone would notice. Sadly it was packed and we were thoroughly embarrassed. |

I could definitely carry the bikini top off with no ridicule whatsoever (quite the opposite). As for the bikini bottom, well, if you are the type of guy that is obsessed with the perfect ass that has been trained at the gym, has no signs of aging or cellulite whatsoever and no tiny wee bit sticking out, then maybe I would have to wear a little skirt for you (my legs can comfortably carry the rest off though)

Being over 30 myself, it kinda goes with the territory. So no, not obsessed with female perfection. Maybe a little obsessed with breaches of good taste in Sainsburys. I don't like to be put off my food, is all!

At Flyboy10's last school, some of the mothers would drive their children to school (many as close as two or three hundred yards) whilst wearing dressing gowns/night clothes and slippers.

There are definately some areas where this is "normal", Liverpool being one. My cousin lives there for uni and she reports its very common, so much so that she barely notices anymore. People actually go to the pub in their PJs too, no joke!

I think this is hysterical, people going out shopping in their pj's. They must be off their heads!

It's quite common in Belfast too, people seem to walk around in pyjamas, and sometimes dressing gowns as well.
I always get properly dressed, even if just trackie bottoms, just as comfortable, and less embarassing |

10am? That's not too bad... Try 8:00pm in the Fried Chicken Shop! I had to do a double take. The girl was about 16 years old and she had her PJ's and dressing gown on gettting her food.

A few nights ago our daughter called us in a panic as the guy she was out on a date with had been arrested for having no tax or insurance and she was left stranded
![]() It was quite late, and I was in my Pj's, so I just threw a jacket on over the top and ran out the door with hubby..half way there we ran out of petrol. He hadn't picked up his wallet, but I had my purse in my jacket pocket, so I had to go in and pay..not too bad as there was only one person in there...so I thought I could hopefully run in and out without anyone noticing The one person in there was my old neighbour, who was a bit snobby and who, when she lived there, always looked down on me..she just smiled and said "nice to see you haven't changed much"
