Thank goodness this poor excuse for X Factor is over , IMHO it has been the worst one yet , I do hope 2010 is a big improvement or I for one will not bother , Simon got it so wrong this year

TXF kept a lot of young people off the streets at the weekend which can only be applauded. It is light entertainment and it does boost music sales so the whole industry is helped.

It was getting a bit samey near the end and has finished just in time for the Xmas no.1

The media coverage will go pretty quickly unless Joe comes out and he can concentrate on recording his debut album in LA.

Yep, glad its over - I watched it with a gun to my head and threats of "no trips to Utd if you switch it off".....

Nobody rocked my world truth be told - Joe deserved to win, no way I'd buy his material though.

I'm glad it's over in the sense I don't have to worry about results any more. And the fact that my favourite won makes it a lot more satisfactory! I think it's the right time to say goodbye to it so I can get my life back and relax! I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders today!

Absolutley brilliant Sunday night telly..... a couple of hours of great sporting insights, culminating in that wonderful Ryan Giggs getting his just desserts, flicking through the channels I stumbled across the magnificent Paul MacCartney knocking out a couple of tunes, then as soon as he finished it was channel hopping to Beeb 2 for the snooker ..... such a treat.

Who won the X Factor, out of interest?

I just think the show has become a parody of itself - the overly hyped intros for example. I Sky+ the show and fast forward to just the songs and results. I appreciate that it is entertainment for the masses and has generated huge income this weekend for all concerned but it really does insult the intelligence. I hope the format moves on to something that concentrates more on singing - like American Idol.

Yep, I do the same. Cannot be bothered with all that extra rubbish. Doesn't it take like 10 minutes for the first contestant to actually make it on stage?

I don't care about all that "last week..." recap rubbish. It's not a fricking drama where we need a reminder of the plot developments from last week. I can't be arsed with Dermot's attempts to warm up the audience. I know who the judges are and don't need to have some drawn-out introduction where they wander on to the stage. Heck, I can't even bo bothered with these ridiculous VTs where each contestant makes an identikit rant about how its "their dream" and how they'd be "gutted" if they went home. We get it already! I just want to hear the contenstants sing and see what the judges have to say about it.

And don't even get me started on the results show. An HOUR! To read out a few names!

I know this is a bit of a random place, but can anyone else believe that in 6 series there have only been 4 females in the final 3.

It's ridiculous

You know... some people actually watch it LIVE. WITH ADVERTS!

I shudder.

The changes made from last year have proved harmful to XFactor's brand. they should never have moved results to Sunday, because it looks like the blatant money racket it surely is. and there's really no need for an audience at the auditions. whoever dreamt that one up needs shooting.

Never Ever mention "Live" in the same breath as the X Factor again....

It's a criminal offence

Except in the same sentence as Paul McCartney that is. He at least had the grace to sing live.
